    Worth the Price

It's Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine (which we all love, don't even kid yourself), in Japan, taking place after the events of X-Men 3. This movie works well as a stand-alone film in the series because it doesn't have many ties to any other sequence of events in the series. That was the mistake they made with the first wolverine film because the timeline in it doesn't make sense in the rest of the X-men movie world and it's frustrating to watch because of it! This is just an entertaining Wolverine story. If you enjoy the X-men series at all, or Hugh Jackman, definitely watch this film. When you do, stay tuned after the credits, you won't be sorry!!!

I have been a long time viewer of the X-men series from the cartoons to the movies. This is by far one of the worst ones. The action scenes look horrible, the acting is getting worse, the plots don't really make sense anymore, and it's not worth the money. It seems that they rush the movie out and don't care about polishing it up or having a substantial story line. If they would stick to having Bryan Singer make all the X-men movies from now on like he use to, these movies would be quite a bit better.

I think most would agree that of all the X-men characters, Wolverine is amongst the most popular. That's why it's been unfortunate that the X-men series tangent counterparts, X-men Origins & The Wolverine, have not stepped up to be at least equivalent in quality and luster. However, this latest Wolverine film does exceed it's previous (Origins) and stands to be a decent movie to enjoy. The extras in this package are fairly interesting, too.

It was good just not as great as the other wolverine movies.i really don't know what made me not like it as much just glad I didn't pay the extra to get it on blue ray but I'm still glad to have it in my collection sence I have all the other movies . I would still recommend watching it and making your own desion on it .it wasn't a bad movie it just wasn't as good as the other wolverine movies.

The movie itself is a bit on the weak side but if you are a X-Men fan than you know you must have it as part of your collection. The Blu Ray video quality is good. Lots of fine details seen. The audio is demo quality outstanding. I marked No I would recommend to a friend but I would if they were an X-Men fan because it still is worth owning in your collection.

This is a solid entry into the X-Men franchise, considerably better than the first solo Wolverine outing. The movie follows a well regarded storyline in Wolverine's comic history and the adaptation is fine. The Unrated cut of the movie is definitely the one you want to watch as much of the action is choppy in the cut where the overt violence was edited out.

The product itself is great. I purchased it on sale and I certainly don't have anything negative to say about it as a product. As far as the film itself, I think the plot is perfectly adequate and the acting is a bit mediocre. As you come to expect with stand alone Wolverine films, Hugh Jackman is stellar while everyone else is lackluster.

Average Movie but 3D is Amazing

OK movie but 3D is amazing. I have been watching 3D movies for the last 14 months since having a home built with media room, and I cannot watch a Blu-ray or normal HD movie. 3D is much more realistic and life like, not so much when the picture is coming out the screen but simply 3 deminsional. Need more 3D movies, not enough hits are in 3D.

Better than the last wolverine film and better then x-men 3, but still lacking. The story is interesting but slow at times, the action is good up until the final showdown where it becomes a video game. Hugh Jackman gets better every film and really takes this character to heart.

    Good But Not Great

I was looking forward to seeing this for a longtime, I hoped we would get a more aggressive and brutal Wolverine this time around. But it's mostly everything we've seen before. It's a good popcorn flick but don't expect anything too big. The 3D was alright, but not much pop or depth.

Superior to the first wolverine film but still doesn't capture the greatness of first class or days of future past, and seeing as how the last film wiped away all the original timeline, which was for the best, you won't really be missing out on anything if you never see it.

The movie in general was decent. I enjoyed seeing Wolverine in action again and can even forgive the deviations from the true story but it wasn't amazing. Plot was thin leaving no surprises but an enjoyable diversion.

This was a good start for a franchise. It started off great but ended up pretty weak with the latest installment of Logan. I would purchase most of the movies prior to Logan but may opt to skip unless you really need it in your collection.

Hugh Jackman is always great to watch, and this is better than the first Wolverine movie, but that doesn't say much. I also don't understand why the X-men movies want to distinguish themselves as PG-13 movies with the standard "F word" entry.

I have never enjoyed the ties to Japan aspects of the Wolverine stories. They never really sat well with me, so I didn't enjoy this story very much, but others I know thought that it was a pretty good movie. I am not the target audience for this particular film.

In my opinion not as good as the first solo project for the Wolverine character . But still a decent ride. The train sequence is far superior to the rest of the film. Which seemed to drag along in too many spots. Yet it's not a bad movie overall.

This iteration of the solo Wolverine story takes us to Japan and leaves the script. I think this villain is great but the story is just not there. The claws look more and more ridiculous and there is no introduction of another character.

Would've been a better deal if it was the DVD/Blu-Ray combo, but still a decent deal at $4 on Black Friday. If you like the X-Men series &/or Wolverine, its a great edition to your collection. Otherwise, its an okay movie.

Nicely done. Does end up like your average action pic but you can see they attempted to do something special. Logan succeeded where this one failed.
