Just as always, this X-Files Mythology set is extremely good. All the episodes are well-done, but sometimes they can be confusing because of the many facets of the mythology itself. Even so, the suspense is still as powerful it always was, and the acting is great--Gillian Anderson especially stands out. Adam Baldwin is perfect as Knowle Rohrer, giving the character just the right hint of malevolence. Unfortunately, there are barely any extras in the set itself. There are commentaries on only a few episodes--unlike Stargate SG-1, for example, which in most of its box sets has commentaries for every episode. There are no interviews or 'making-of' features; the only documentary is the 'Threads of the Mythology', which gives a quick run-down of all the episodes in this set. It's very well done and informative, making up for the lack of other extras. All in all, though, this is good for X-Files fans who want all the pertinent storylines without having to buy entire seasons. Highly recommended, as long as you buy the other three sets too!
