Good for a first season but the did could some more extras

I like old sci-fi/ received a good deal on the 6cd set. This was the last 1 on the shelf and had my name written on it as I watched this program when it was in it's prime.

I loved watching the series years ago and I was very happy to find dvd, but the episodes do not move seamlessly from one episode to the next. There is no play all option on dvd. When episode ends it goes back to main menu where you select next episode.

The original series on Hi-Def...what is there to not love about that! I'm re-watching every episode since they're releasing X Files 2016.

It's been a great show, with the return of it I had to get the entire set, I bough them while on sale so I regret nothing.

It's tough to watch the first season of The X-Files without thinking about what it would evolve into. While the basic ingredients are there, the two leads have not found their footing yet, and there are just as many misses as hits in terms of that first bunch of episodes. Still, there's a lot of promise, as well as some truly exciting moments.
