Smelled like new plastic smell when first installed - which covered the original odor for about 4 days. After 4 days - plastic 'new smell' faded - but would not filter smells in a 100 Square feet enclosed area. Not worth the money for a fan.

Didn't notice any air improvement. Filter remained clean. Jury is out on air purifiers and if they are worth it. Google it.

very loud and makes air smell funny...it is fine if on low but if you need a bigger room cleaner.... look else where...

was not sure how much this helped. allergies still bad but could just be the weather.

Good at reducing dust. Noisy at higher speeds. Don't notice any difference in odor reduction.

The purifier works well in my opinion. I could tell it does purify the air after a day of using it throughout. The lights around the buttons on the top of the unit are (in my opinion) too bright during night use should you like a really dark room. The hourly timer which goes from one to 24 hours (not like the 1, 2, 4, 8 hour time found on my tower fan) is a great feature if you want to have it run while you are out of the room yet don't want it to run indefinitely in case your forget it's on.

I owe many air purifiers due to my families allergies. This is by far the best performing and best looking air purifier I have. It is quite and very easy to maintain. The best us that there is no filter to replace and it kills germs

I got this for my stays with smoking family, as I have major smoke sensitivities, and even if they stop smoking inside when I'm there, the lingering smoke does it just as well. Works great at home to control animal dander in the most frequented room, as well. This may not completely clear it out, but I certainly notice a difference. It gets quite loud on higher settings, though on low it's barely audible. The UV feature is nice, and I'm sure it works, but I have no way of confirming that, so I take their word for it. The filter is easy to remove, and doing so powers off the unit; a nice safety feature due to the UV bulb being under the filter

AWESOME air purifier! Has almost eliminated my coughing when I lay down to go to sleep. Has really helped with my allergies! Give it a try it beats having to take more medications or cough suppressants too!

I will preface this by saying, take advantage of best buy's price match service on this product. Shopping around is good. Since I can't say anything about price. But any rate, I've owned a few air purifiers. I've had the ionizer kinds where you wash the blade and the filter kinds with increasingly hard to find filters. What drew me to this unit is that it has a cleanable HEPA filter so I don't have to worry about trying to find filters as long as I take care of it. I tried running this in both our living room and bedroom. I noticed a difference within the first couple hours. I've been battling a cold that's been moving to my chest and being inside around the pet dander hasn't been helping. I spent some time outside today while we let this thing go to work and the difference was amazing. I'm not sniffle free by any means, but I don't feel like I'm drowning trying to breathe. We clean our house well throughout the week and my husband cleaned our the vents and replaced our air filters. But this unit gave me the extra purification I needed. Dander and dust mites are a constant battle, no matter how clean the house. I'm very happy with this unit so far.

help me to sleep at night. needs to be less noisy. too much light, but it could help as a night lite.

After a ton of research and trial and error I ended up with this air purifier. I've had it for about a week so far. I went through 3 different purifiers, and returned them all due to them being very loud. This purifier is nearly silent on low. We leave the purifier on low during the day when we are home, and will set it up higher when we are not home. We literally cannot hear it running unless I put my ear unto the device. You can feel air coming out of it when on low so it is working! When on medium or high there is definite noise, so we do not use these settings when we are home. After day 2 we could tell a difference in air quality. I love the fact that I don't have to replace expensive filters every couple months.

Saw major improvement in air freshness in home but product works if used as recommended for 250sq footage area.

Ok, I’ll admit that I was extremely reluctant and skeptical about purchasing an Air Purifier; I really didn’t believe that they work! I began experiencing severe allergies, I was waking up daily with HUGE hives all over because of a cat that I’ve lived with for 20 years, I had no choice but to try something other using prescribed antihistamines day and night, which made me feel like one of the Walking Dead and getting rid of my elderly cat was not an option! I brought this Purifier on a Monday, plugged it in my bedroom and let it run all evening and night; I woke up Tuesday to noticeably less hives! I let it run all day while I was at work and again at night. I woke up to even less hives! Each day I am waking up to fewer hives, and they were getting smaller too! By Friday AM I woke up to just two single small hives, so it is definitely working as it advertises. I’m purchasing another to keep in my downstairs garage where my cat dwells in hope to totally eradicating my hives. I feel so much better now and not zombie like!

It has been less than a year since my purchase and one of the front LED's went out with no way to change the bulb. I was told to order a new filter and replacement bulb in back. Did that and it did not fix the problem. The problem is an individual LED in the front.

I bought this product to get rid of the cat hair in my apartment and it did exactly what it was suppose to. A+++

This purifier has made breathing in my room great again.
