Daniel Day Lewis gives one of the best acting performances I have ever seen. The movie's plot itself is somewhat factual but leaves alot to be desired. If it wasn't for the great acting I would't recommend this.

I loved this movie, Daniel Day Lewis really earned his academy award with this one. The acting was extremely good, one of the best movies of 2007 and will definetly last through time, this one will never get old.

PTA movies are hard to come by in certain stores, especially for cheap. Found this for 5.99 and it is such a masterpiece, I just had to get it. Must-see for any film buff

Daniel Day-Lewis' is so good that the movie is worth watching entirely just for his performance. Great direction and very enjoyable score by Greenwood. Very let down by the supplements.

I didn't care for this much the first time I saw it. Second time I fell in love with it and have watched it numerous times since then. The PQ of the Blu-ray is really soft.

Overall, the movie is great! prepare yourself for a long movie, but it's good at every scene. This is a classic in your collection.

i went to go see this movie in theaters and was expecting big things because the reviews, and at first it went kind of slow and then seemed like maybe it was building up to something that would actually make sense but then the movie goes off in a direction that made no sense and had nothing to do with what the previous hour and half of movie was seeming leading you to. afterwords i left feeling confused, i overheard some of the people on my way out saying things like "what the heck was that about" and "well that sucked" and i couldnt have agreed more

Starts off very good but becomes dull and depressing in the 2nd half. D Day-Lewis is excellent as always. One of the worst movie scores ever.

"There Will Be Blood" Why was this the title? Should have been "There Will Be Boredom" Very, very slow and way too long. I kept looking at the time and at one point I said "Man! another hour to go". The only thing that kept me from stopping this movie thirty minutes into, was that I hoped that it would get better. I wish that I could give it minus three stars. Now it's time for a Milkshake!
