700 watt power supply
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My computer kept shutting down for no reason using this power supply. I had to upgrade to a 750 watts power supply less than 6 months after purchasing this one

Good for what it is
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this as a tester/workbench device because all the power cables are connected so can't misplace them or confuse them with non-Thermaltake cables. Only complaint I have is that when you shutoff power then turn it back on using the self-test shunt (goes over the MB power so the PSU will turn-on without a MB) the PSU won't come up. You have to remove the shunt and place it back on for it to work again.

maybe coil whine
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Power supply seems to work fine. There was a little bit of a coil whine, but it comes and goes maybe 1 out of 10 times. Actually I can't even confirm if the coil whine is from this power supply.

I will not buy this brand again.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All my life that I have had to buy power supply I always bought EVGA. I went to Best Buy that day and they only had Corsair and this one. As far as the EVGA warranty came to me, I bought this one. Well, I left it installed because I had the other spare. The one from EVGA lasted me almost 3 years. Giving it a use of 24 hours and 7 days a week on. But this one that I bought here only lasted 1 month 2 and a half weeks. And it got damaged and my computer only needs 495w of requirement. I put a higher one for when I change the GPU. This means that it was not using its maximum capacity so it might cause it. And anyway they are designed for that but this was not that case. Here the detail is that it only lasted 2 months rounded and damaged. I have voltage protection also not connected to direct wall outlet. I just can't believe it, the computer turned itself off while it was on and when it turns on it doesn't do anything. I put the EVGA and everything is fine. I will not buy this brand again.I don't recommend it to anyone. I warn you what happened to me in my case.

Good specs, but only one dedicated 8 pin pcie
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The power supply at 700w would make it good for a fairly powerful system, however this only has one dedicated 8 pin pcie cable. It says it has two, but it is just a splitter, so it is not advisable for gpus that need 2x8 pcie cables.

Posted .Hello,
The pig tail is the same power delivery as two dedicated cables, which isn't needed unless it is explicitly asked for by the hardware. Otherwise there is no difference.

Not bad
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did not come with the Connector to power the USB. Not sure if I just missed something or not but it’s ok. Easy to see what goes where and not crazy confusing.

Power supply with issues meeting rated capacity
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had issues with this power supply. It would not boot my computer when using a GTX 3070 GPU. I replaced it with a corsair 700w model which worked perfectly.

No 6 pin connections
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No 6 pin connections, you'll have to purchase 8 to 6 pin adapters separately for your high end GPU. That's actually a major issue to consider before you buy these.

Pretty standard power supply.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's exactly what I was looking for, about 20 dollars more than I would have liked to pay. Sign of the times, it's not gonna get any better anytime soon.

Lasted less than 6 months
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased in June 2024, failed in November 2024. First replacement power supply I've ever purchased that lasted less than 5 years. While Thermaltake provides a 5-year warranty, you must to pay to ship it to them for repair or replacement adding to the cost, not to mention your computer will be down while you're waiting. Buy a better quality power supply up front instead.
