Well, its an 80+ white psu, and 1 month later it still works fine. My old psu was an 80+ white evga and that lasted me 6 years! With the 5 year warranty that Thermaltake has on this one I have good faith this will last long too! Don't get fooled by psu marketers, you don't need gold to last long.

My computer's power supply died. Normally I purchase online. But, thought to check BestBuy. Thankfully they had it on their shelf. It had a decent power wattage and price. It worked perfectly.

I purchase these as replacement PSUs in my computer repair business. They represent an excellent value for a 80 Plus power supply, and I haven't had one fail yet. Good build quality. Large, 120 mm cooling fan and heat sink to allow long life. And to top it all, a five-year warranty. Can't beat it.

The braided sheath over the cords allows for a neatly kept system with the strategic use of some zip ties which they have politely included with the unit. It did not have the extra 4 pin atx connector that my motherboard supplies but I don't plan on overclocking the cpu so it should be fine.

It powers everything as it should but if you have a windowed case the Ketchum and mustard cables look bad. I used a set of cable extenders that look much better helped but that is a lot of cable to hide in a case. It works 100% for its job of delivering power.

Power Supply Worked fine for 2 months then started causing a myriad of issues.gpu now whines under load which is a direct cause of this power supply being poorly regulated in terms of power delivery. admitedly this is partial my doing as i should have invested in an evga or something more reliable instead. but the fact is this is a white rated psu which should not cause whine under load. the evga which dosnt cause coil whine is UNRATED and works better then this. if ur using this is a powerful gaming rig stay clear but for something like a workhorse pc or emulation rig this gets gold stars the only reason i give it a 3 star is a matter of personal review and opinion ps i also tend to lose frames alot in destiny 2 which has gone away with my new 750watt evga "always go with a trusted brand of which thermaltake is but can be hit or miss" this now sits pretty inside of an emulation pc used for much lower end games

    Incorrect pins listed seemingly

Bought this for my girlfriends computer that has a 4070. The 4070 requires a 650w PSU. Purchased this bad boy, that isn't modular. Assuming it had 2-8 pin connectors. It doesn't. It has only 1-6+2 connection . Others are specified only for CPU. Returned it a bought something different. If you needed a decent psu I'm am sure this would suffice. Sadly for the connectors I needed, it did not work out. I wouldn't hook up a $600 GPU in a way that would void a warranty. Or damage it in general.

The Thermaltake Power supply for PC is very good and it got all the primary features to operate to give the true amperes for the mother board and other accessories on the system, safety features is very good you can monitor the condition of the PS.
