Good but not for I7-8700k @5.1/RTX 2080 Super.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This purchased was returned. Before anyone thinks this is negative let me try and explain. For the price, it was very good. I have an 8700k @5.1ghz with 64gb RAM and 2 NVME , 2 SSD and 6 HDD drives. 2 PCIE cards. I have a total of 7 fans and a boat load of RGB lighting. When I started to have issues is when I max out my RTX 2080 Super and Cpu. I maxed the cpu and no issues. I maxed the gpu and no issues. When I max both together I would get a 12v drop to 11.80v. Now this would not be a major issue but then the fans would ramp up to cool everything in my case to where it dropped to 11.60v. I'm not a 100% of what the tolerance for a psu is but this ran fine under stressing but as soon as I fire a game up (Microsoft Flight Sim 2020) the system becomes unstable. The same thing happens with Horizon Zero Dawn. Sometimes it just locks the game or simply reboots the PC. My original Corsair 600watt gave out after 7yrs so I thought this would work. It did not. This would work a basic or mid range system with no issues but for higher end power sucking components like i have i would choose something with a 80+ GOLD rating. This also has Pcie x2 8pin cable on it that is daisy chained which i have read could be an issue on a high end gpu, so maybe that's the issue. I went with a Seasonic 750w 80+ Gold modular for about $40 more here on Best Buy and never drops below 12.09v under same load. Everything is rock solid. Hope this helps.

Good product
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, I am a fan of Thermaltake, been using their products for years. My last power supply was 6 years old before it gave up. So I just got another, only more watts. I can only say that it works for me. Maybe the only thing that could be improved is to provide some cable management (velcro straps) products, I had my own.

Quiet Power
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Truthfully there wasn't much to choose from but I didn't want to drive to a real computer store and this power supply had everything I needed at a price I felt was reasonable. Install was simple and has more than enough connectors. Love the look of the braided looms. The sales associate was awesome and made me forget for a minute we're living though the end times. And it's much quieter than the old one.
