    I needed a new power supply with more power and this happened to be on sale at the store. I installed it and things have been good for now, and I hope this will keep working for a long while.

    I had to change the PSU for my Alienware Aurora R8. It oddly came with just 425 watts of power so I needed to upgrade it to use a 2070 Super. I went with this one and it had all the connectors I needed for everything, including the connectors for the GPU plus extra cables. Unfortunately with the way Alienware did the cables for the CD Drive (proprietary), no power supply will come with the plug for it so I wasn't able to keep my CD drive, although I have never used that since I bought this computer so I don't mind at all. Overall, the cables are nicely wrapped, and the fan on the unit itself is very quiet. Good quality and price. Highly recommend.
