Very easy to use and is great for someone trying to learn to grill properly. I setup a little charcoal grill and threw this into a pork butt and it came out so juicy. I wasn't worried about it overcooking since the thermometer told me everything i'd need to know including an estimate of when it'd be done with the parameters i set, which are also very easy to do through the app. It is a thick spike so thats probably the only downside but other than that its great

Extremely happy I received this for Easter. We bake a Crown Roast in a new electric oven and it preformed very well. In fact the roast was done before we thought. During our Easter egg hunt the alarm went off and if not for that we would have burn it. It payed for itself on its Maiden use. Temps were right on and I would recommend this product.

Worked well on first try. Easy to set up and transmission was good. Was nice to see both ambient and internal temps while smoking

This was a lifesaver when it came to smoking a 9.5lbs brisket for the 4th of July. The temperature was spot on for the internal meat and the inside of the grill area temperature readings. The alarms worked great. The only downside was that the estimated cook time was way off and kept changing every 30mins or so.

Accurate temps and holds a charge well. The diameter of the probe is larger than previous ones I’ve used but I’m satisfied with this one.

Now this little tool makes it easier to plan out your cook. After some trend analysis the app will tell you a predicted time to make your temp settings. You can set multiple staging profiles for the different cook phases with alerts. The range on it is pretty good since that comes from the magnetic (nice!!) base. I drove to the store and it disconnected. Upon return it reconnected and picked up where it left off. It handles the heat with no problem and cleanup if pretty easy. It recharges in a pretty reasonable amount of time. Comparison with two other temp gages this is accurate. Two briskets and a turkey into this and I am very happy with the purchase. The next time I might get one with multiple probes.

This seems to work very well and is accurate however I have one complaint. You must insert around 3 inches and it’s fairly large in diameter so this is best for large items or something long where you can insert length wise.

Very easy to use and works great. Very accurate thermometer and it makes it really nice to check from your phone. I do kind of wish it worked a little further from the phone.

Very easy to set up. Works great off the iphone and the temperature ranges are great way to monitor the food you are cooking

I love this device. My only complaint is range. I want to be able to leave the house and run to the store and see the temp, but thats not realistic. The range is exactly what it advertises. I love that it tells the temp of the meat and the ambient temp. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Bought for when we are cooking over the campfire. Finally got to try it out Labor Day weekend. Seems to have worked fine. Set up was super easy with the app & simple enough to use. Only thing we are puzzled on is the instructions indicate the notch has to be covered by whatever you are temping. Doing so means you’re typically pushing the probe all the way thru. We tried it both ways & it seemed fine either way. Bought on a deal of the day, so saved a few bucks on it.

This is my second time purchasing this item - the probe for the first stopped charging after 4 years and was our of warranty. I liked it enough to purchase again! The app makes it easy to set your desired temps and comes with presets as well. I smoke a lot of meats and I am able to easily keep track of temps.

I love this!!! Perfect meat everythime. I decided to kick it up a notch and do a Turkey. Temperature was accurate and the Turkey was fully cooked. I will be getting more on the next sale for my family as gifts.

I love my TempSpike! I’ve grilled a variety of meats and fish and it works beautifully. I really like stove top searing and oven finishing of New York strip and ribeye, it’s so easy with TempSpike and the app is amazing and easy to use.

Works as expected, temperatures seem to read accurately compared with other thermometers.

Very easy to use and the prime rib roast came out perfect. The roast retains it’s juices instead of inserting a thermometer to keep checking for temperature.
