I formerly had a "Meater" thermometer and this is much better. Has held up well and, most importantly, you can tell if it's charged/charging or not! Way better cost point too.

I was sick and tired of taking the turkey out and putting it back in again because of low thermometer readings or cutting it open and finding out it was not fully cooked. I put the prob in and watched the temperature on my phone. Ignoring my wife's demand to take the bird out I waited until it beeped and my bird came out perfectly.
