This was a not so good movie. Thought it would have been better for all the hype about it.

Pretty funny movie about the end of the world told from the perspective of comedians/actors in Los Angeles. Definitely enjoyed watching it overall. I really loved the fact that the actors don't even bother going by made up names for this. There's not much of a plot except that the apocalypse has come. However, that's where comedians shine. Even with their friends dying in front of them, the jokes keep rolling. The movie is pretty vulgar, so if you can't handle lots of jokes about male genetalia, then stay away. Watch it and you should enjoy it. Should definitely watch some of the outakes, too.

This is The End stars some of Hollywood's funniest actors in an ensemble comedy that has them playing fictionalized versions of themselves as the world ends. The result is possibly the funniest first half hour of a film in a very very long time. Though the whole set-up starts to wear thing and bog down a bit in the middle (these characters are almost miserable to watch as they try to survive the apocalypse), it picks back up again towards the end. Worth watching just for all the early cameos alone.

This movie was hilarious! By far the best end-of-the-world style movie there is! Watching movie stars play themselves freaking out as the world goes into chaos around them brings so many great one-liners. The way they show themselves as not being able to handle anything is such a great change from movie stars trying to act like super heroes. I loved it! Definitely worth buying to watch many times!

I'm a big fan of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's movies. This is their directorial debut, and they don't disappoint. It's a hilarious "meta" comedy with the principals playing exaggerated, or in some cases completely fake, versions of themselves. The blu-ray is full of supplements including a directors' commentary, gag reel, and deleted scenes.

I saw this in the theaters and I must say i haven't laughed that hard since 21 jump street. There is a particular scene between James Franco and Danny Mcbride that left me gasping for air I was laughing so hard. This is a must for anyone that loves adult comedies

I enjoyed This Is the End quite a bit. It's very funny, and even if one joke doesn't hit, there's always another one close behind that might. Be warned, however, that this movie is potentially offensive depending on your beliefs.

This is the End is a hilarious, nonstop onslaught of humor. The crew is great, and you can tell this movie was made with great intentions as all the cast seem to be having a blast. Michael Cera's cameo is awesome!

This movie is amazingly funny. I would highly recommend if you're a fan of Danny mcbride that you pick this up. He is by far one of the funniest characters in the movie. One of the few comedies you should pick up this fall!

Some of Hollywood's funniest, young talent playing farcical versions of themselves all while attempting to survive a newly formed apocalyptic wasteland while simultaneously trying not to destroy each other. A true masterpiece of film-making.

This is the End is my favorite comedy of 2013. If you enjoy movies like Pineapple Express, 21 Jump Street, and The Hangover, this movie is for you. I could not stop laughing in the theater when I saw it, and I'm happy to have added the DVD to my collection.

On paper, this movie seems like a dumb idea: Seth Rogen, James Franco and their group of buddies try to survive the apocalypse. But the results are hilarious. The extras are good, the picture is crisp and Crystal clear. Definitely recommend it.

Funny flick with a great cast and lots of your favorite entertainers getting killed in entertaining ways. But once the novelty wears off, and it will, it's a bit too long.

If you want to spend your evening laughing non stop.. This film will do it. It may be stupid, but stop taking things so seriously.. It's ok to kick back and enjoy a dumb flick every now and then. Get the popcorn ready.

Hilarious movie with tons of cameos and comedic star power. Contains a DVD and Blu-Ray. The copy I got also has an Ultraviiolet code which worked despite saying it expired 12/16.

This is the End is a great movie. One of the tops of 2013. I highly recommend it. It's funny and doesn't take itself serious. I give it 5 stars

Great movie from start to finish! They made it a little more family friendly but I was ok with that. It was a great movie but I still think the first two movies were a bit better.

I don't normally buy comedies as, to me, most just don't hold up the 2nd or 3rd time through... and this title going to be in the same catagory for me. Ya know sometime I just gotta' wonder, "How in the heck does a project like this get green lighted?" This is a character driven comedy and I guess ya just gotta' love these characters - they don't stray far from the well if ya know what I mean!!! Look for it on sale!!!

If you enjoy the work of any of the comedians in the cast, you will enjoy this movie! It is extremely funny, but does require you to turn your mind off to fully enjoy.

This was a pretty funny film but it is outlandish with its antics. The disc itself is a worthy upgrade over the dvd.
