The speakers are no joke. Sound great, have power, however, the remote didn't get the same attention at the design process. It is unresponsive, cheaply made and requires a chip battery. The good is the speaker has controls that can be accessed but the remote is required to adjust bass/treble which is a must. They got the speakers right but the remote is a failure to a point it almost sinks the product as a whole.

This is the second set of speakers I receive. The first set had a broken remote. These speakers are not packaged very well for their weight. The second set I received arrived in good condition but did not include the battery for the remote (watch battery), so I had to purchase one separately. Hookup to my PC was easy it arrived with all the right wires. The unit is also Bluetooth compatible so that was also an option for hook up. Despite being a foot and a half tall and about eight inches deep, these speakers DO NOT sound very rich. The bass leaves something to be desired, maybe because I'm used to having a subwoofer. Box does not state anywhere that they are 350W, and they sure DO NOT sound like they are able to produce that much power. Overall sound quality was clear but not powerful.

When connected to RCA inputs, the sound quality was decent for the price I paid for (I got as a Daily Deal) but not good enough for the full price. The bluetooth input arrived broken. Only the right speaker worked and had a loud hiss. I tried with multiple devices (iPad, PC, and Android phone) just to eliminate the source. I called Best Buy and they promptly sent me a replacement. Unfortunately, it was the white model (I ordered a black). The white model (which did not come with the speaker grilles) does not match anything on my desktop so I did not even test that one. Returned both items.

I like the speakers, but the controller didn't work from the start. I am in the process of having another controller sent to me. If I do not get a new controller for free I am returning the speakers.

Bought these on sale because they had good reviews. Very deep bass indeed. Could be much brighter and balanced sounding and lacks solid midrange which makes them sound slightly muddy (low), imo. 3.5 stars

I listen to a variety of music these speakers could not hang. I did experience some distortions with higher volume. Ok for jazz and classical genres.
