    Taika Waititi's (Taika David Cohen) cinematic take on the comic book hero Thor is a trippy 80's influenced space adventure comedy. Also, it contains a significant amount of subtext of post-colonial legacies.

    I am not a Thor fan but I read that the actors were encouraged to adlib so I watched. It was very funny and spontaneous.

    The best movie in the MCU in my opinion. Great effects and call out to characters and story lines in the Marvel comic universe.
