    Following 2017's Thor Ragnarok, it's odd to revisit the character in the earlier movies. Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Kat Dennings are great, but everything about Thor feels a little fuzzy around the edges in this first outing. It's a weird little small-town drunken sheriff redemption Western starring a Norse god.

    The first two Thor movies are probably my least favorites of the MCU but as a collector of Marvel steelbooks they are a great addition to the set. I think once they release Ant-Man, GOTG Vol. 1, and Dr. Strange in 4K I may have to try for a 22/23(depending on if Far From Home is released or not) movie marathon.

    Probably the most Shakespearian take on Thor, not too surprising since it’s directed by Kenneth Branagh. Entertaining and has some really great character moments, especially with Loki. But definitely a phase 1 marvel movie where they were still trying to find the right spot for big blockbuster comic movies.

    For video, great resolution. However, audio should be Dolby Atmos.
