Like captain America I was simply impressed by the film for the fact that it didn’t come looking stupid, instead a great fish out of water story.

I enjoyed watching this movie a lot. I first watched this movie in the theater. I could not wait until the movie was released into a 4K DVD. The 4K video is excellent, much better than blu ray or standard DVD quality. I don't mind watching it over and over again.

I really became attached to Thor in the very beginning of his movie debut. Thor has really become a staple in the Marvel franchise. What I really like about all the Thor movies is that you can watch any movie you want out of order and it will make complete sense and it will urge you into wanting to see the other related movies.

The first Thor would have been a slightly better movie had it been released say in the early 2000s, but none the less it is still entertaining movie.

As a die-hard Marvel and Stan Lee fan, I jumped at the chance to get this steelbook for $8! The 4k disc is superbly clear, and the soundtrack separation is intense. Loved looking for plot lines that lead to the Endgame storyline. Keep the steelbooks coming at these prices!

I already owned this movie in Dvd but with my new projector Blu-ray is much more of a clearer picture. Plus I have a 4k TV if I want to watch it on 4k. I love the Thor movies and this one is full of action and a great ending. But DVD doesn't cut it anymore.

The ending got a little saggy but the overall movie is fantastic. Great chapter in the larger MCU too even though it is pretty much a self contained Thor story. The steelbook is cool, though I don't really like the shiny photo versions. I like the steel brushed matte texture with the artwork like the first Spiderman Homecoming version that came out when it was first released.

The first Thor film is pretty good and very underrated in my opinion. This 4K transfer is solid and a nice update if you wish to have the best version of the film. The picture and audio are good. The steelbook packaging/art is also a nice bonus. Pick it up if you are an MCU fan.

I love this Thor movie in 4K! I read Marvel comics as a kid, and Thor was my favorite. Chris Hemsworth owns the character. The scene where Thor dies and then comes to life again says it all. Of all Marvel movies made, that scene does it for me...

The Marvel Conematic Universe is epic and is amazing to watch. Thor is something i never purchased at first but now I have to complete my mcu collection. Now that i e seen the latest films, going back to Thor enhances the movie I believe. Too bad his bleached eyebrows are so distracting. He looks sick....

So happy they did a rerelease of these steelbooks. I am worried that they will release a whole set with better artwork but who knows.

Some strange things going on in the image. DNR applied and strange looking force fields around images and instances of frozen grain.

Thor is a new style of Action Hero movie. It is a hero's journey, but not the standard one where he had to understand his powers or undergo a transition. This is the story of a hero who had his powers removed in order to teach him how to be humble enough to lead. Well acted by Chris Hemsworth and Anthony Hopkins. And 3D makes this movie even better,

Great upgrade from the blu ray and to the collection! A great way to introduce this character as well. The picture sound and story truly immerse you into this universe so the next time you're at Best Buy puck up this 4k movie you won't regret it!

I already owned the Blu-ray, but needed the steelbook case, digital copy, and 4k version. The case alone is worth it. While not as fun as the third installment (Thor Ragnarock), still a great origin story to Thor, his family, and Asgard.

My husband bought this using his best buy account and reviewed it, then we had our accounts merged, and all his old purchases are showing up on MY review page, so I'm re-reviewing so-to-speak to get the points.

This movies gets props for introducing Thor, LOKI, and hawkeye for the first and therefore is a must own for any MCU fan.

what rose chris hemsworth into what he is now! am sure everyone has seen these movies now, and if you havent check it out! its a great start to the marvel cinematic universe some of the cgi is a bit clunky but still not that bad

I bought this mostly to complete my Thor steelbook collection - it’s nice, but it’s not my favorite artwork of all time.

An essential for the Marvel collection. Thor is quite unique, not from around here! Great action combined with his humor always makes Thor extremely enjoyable in any of the Marvel films. Plus, even if you have seen it previously, you will be reminded of how great is the mighty Thor!
