I loved this movie in 3D, the picture was so brilliant and deep it almost felt like I was right there. I have to watch it again to get the entire story as the first watch is mostly about seeing how cool everything looks. I don't think the Dark Elves story was as good as the first Thor but it is definitely worth a watch. I got the collectible tin version which is really nice.

The Thor movies are plenty of fun, and this Blu-Ray is all the better with the inclusion of the Marvel One-Shot Hail to the King. Though it doesn't include a digital copy (always seems odd, since if companies really want us to switch to digital, ensuring our collection is already there would make it more enticing), this is another worthy title in the Marvel Movie Universe.

Having really enjoyed the first Thor with only a few minor complaints (sort of slow, fish-out-of-water cliche plot line) came this far superior sequel. The setup for the plot is interesting, Thor has now been established as a character and the fight scenes are far longer and a lot more epic in scope. If you only kinda liked the first Thor, you'll most likely love this one!

The Dark World is an amazing film, though not quite as good as the first film. Acting is good and the villain is especially interesting. The effects and character interactions were good and entertaining. It had a bit of a frantic pace after it got moving, and seemed to need to slow down, just a bit and explain itself to the viewer. I am glad I purchased the movie for my collection and I can't wait to see what else they do in the Thor storyline.

I Liked the movie a lot, I thought it was slightly better then the first Thor movie. The 3d was much better then the first movie. I love the blu ray/ dvd /download combo although I didn't get the 3d bluray. I saw it in 3d in the movies. If you liked the movie definitely get it and all the extras are a big bonus. Oh and if you love Thor like I do, then definitely get it.

Thor one was a great film, now this second Thor film is even better, with plenty of action throughout the movie! Excellent acting, with all the same actors, who do a wonderful job, making this Thor second film a real masterpiece! Just buy this movie and sit back and enjoy it. BestBuy always has the best prices for anything period, that is why I always buy from BestBuy.

I AM GLAD A PURCHASES THIS MOVIE. BEST BUY HAD A COMPETIVE PRIVE, FREE SHIPPING AND QUICK SHIPPING TIMES. THE TWIST IN THIS MOVIE AT THE END WAS GREAT, I GUESS THERE WILL BE A THIRD.

I went into this without a lot of expectations. I tend to try to form my own expectations not based on reviews (go figure as I'm reviewing this). It was a better story than I had expected and my child loved it. The better review comes from her who said it had a better story than the first. It was hard to follow at times without narration from either a VoiceOver in the movie or the parent sitting next to the child. Overall.well worth watching.

THOR movies keep getting unfairly dismissed, for some reason. However, this isn't a bad sequel. In fact, the only real weak link is Natalie Portman. Thank goodness her character won't be in Ragnarok. Besides that, the Marvel One Shot featuring "The Mandarin" is worth the purchase price alone, and corrects 1 of the 2 major flaws with IRON MAN 3.

I'm a sucker for the steel case blu rays, but you have to buy the 3D/blu ray combo. It has the empty disk spot, must have had plans to put a DVD copy in it but didn't. They need to hurry up with making Avengers 2. Really don't think these movies would be the same without Loki (Tom Hiddleston).

I like the Thor movies. I really like how Marvel has taken what I've always considered to be B-list super heroes and elevated them to the A team. This is done through great casting of actors, great storylines, and special effects. Chris Hemsworth makes for a great Thor. It's nice to have this on Blu-ray, and 4 k.

As someone who enjoyed the Avengers-3D, I was pleased with the continuation of that story. The acting was pretty good and the sets were top-rate, but I don't think they originally filmed this in 3D (i.e., native 3D). I wouldn't have purchased it if it wasn't in 3D. I've purchased several movies just because they are in 3D. Sometimes I'm happy (like Wrath of the Titans) and other times I'm not. I think this film falls somewhere in between.

Another fun film from the Marvel Comics Universe with plenty of humor and action that fans - like myself - have come to expect. The special features are also loaded with a Marvel One-Shot "All Hail The King", an exclusive look at Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, a short about the brothers' Thor & Loki, extended and deleted scenes, a gag reel, and more.

This review is a run-down for the Steelbook packaging. This is an official Steelbook, not a metal case by another company, with clear inserts that allow you to see art on the inside of the case when the discs are removed. Oddly, there are three disc slots even though there are only two discs. For some reason this product does *not* contain the dvd version of the film, only the 3D and standard blu-ray versions. That's a little obnoxious.

The movie was a great sequel. Stellan Skarsgard is fantastic with his character. The timeline works with the Avengers and the New York incident is mentioned. I think most of the characters are fantastic. My son says they don't all match the comics. But, I think Marvel has done a terrific job of bringing the comic characters to life! I am not a big cliffhanger fan. But, I am so glad there will be more individual movies and group movies!!

The second movie of phase 2. This is a needed movie, in general(whether you buy the dvd, blu ray, or both), if you follow the marvel cinematic universe movies. Great story. Nice continuation of Thor and Avengers. Second infinity stone revealed. Clear ambition for the villain. Very strong ancient enemy force. Considering that the dvd version was not released with the blur ray version, there are only a couple special features on the disc.

This is probably one of the worst Marvel Universe films but the action is ok, not a great story.

The movie itself is awesome. The only issue I ever have when buying movies is that there just aren't enough copies on the shelf. I would prefer to buy the 3d version. Although they seem to sell out first. Come on Bestbuy, stock the movie shelves to the brim so we can all get a copy. You have to expect good movies to sell more copies. Especially comic book movies.

I thought this was a much better follow up to Avengers than Iron Man 3. The story seemed to flow and didn't introduce unnecessary characters (like the little boy from Iron Man 3). There was a lot more action than the first movie and the humor was unexpected but made the movie that much better. The 3D version just makes this the ultimate purchase for Marvel fans.

This was a good family movie. I know there was violence but it was not graphic. Too often we see movies out there that are geared towards children and they push adult situations in them. Not this one and we thank you for that. One thing we try to do is sit and watch movies as a family and many times we can't not even with the cartoon movies that are out there.
