I'm upgrading my MCU movie collection, so when this steel book was on sale, I had to get it. It's a must-have if you like the Thor movies. Try to use the curb-side pick-up for steel book purchases though, since the postal service have a history of damaging the cover.

For those of us who have been fans of comic book subject matter for years, it's great to see these movies created with some degree of seriousness while not losing the fantasy aspect of it all. Also the humor introduced into these films show they don't take themselves too seriously. It seems rare nowadays that younger and older audiences can enjoy films together.

Another Thor movie? Another Thor movie! I didn't see this in theaters, so I didn't know what to expect. But with little kids, it's time to get out to the theater. So watching this was a treat at home. I don't like to give spoilers, even though it's on DVD. But it's a movie that you will enjoy, especially if you liked the first Thor movie and The Avengers movie.

The grim plot added a shade of doom to this sequel including the introduction of the Aether. The Dark Elves with their desire to bring darkness to the universe once more presented a greater challenge for Thor in this movie. Also the fight scenes and flying action during the attack on Asgard were great and reminded me of the Star Wars prequels (a good thing).

I have been wanting this movie for a long time and best buy had a great deal during the holidays. Best buy also did great with fast shipping and item arrived without damage! I would purchase with best buy again next time Im looking for movies or games.

It is a good movie, but somewhat slow at times, and not up to par with other Marvel films.

This 2nd Thor is a great movie, really going to keep marvel going, from one move to the next bringing them all together, from Iron Man, Avengers, Captain America, its a great plot and you got to see them all to keep up and understand what's going on. cant wait for the next. Bought this 3D combo pack for 19.99 on sale. The Regular blu ray doesnt come with a digital copy unless you buy the 3D combo. Therefore,this item is way more than what I really want to spend. The blu ray and digital cody is not as HD as i expected. The picture is more 720P instead 1080P. Digital copy makes this a decent buy. Will sell the physical copy and just keep the digital copy.

The movie itself is forgettable. The 4K quality is excellent but the audio is lacking in bass.

This movie is, in my opinion, as good, if not better than the original. The movie flows well. It has something for everyone, like the brute action for the comic book fans and the continued romance for the ladies. The wife seemed more interested in Hiddleston than Hemsworth, which is kind of weird to me, but oh well...she liked it too, so no complaints there.

The Thor sequel is an entertaining, larger than life, CGI extravaganza. The villains look awesome, the CGI is gorgeous and the movie moves along at a brisk pace. The characters are fun and entertaining. The movie is fun, but tries too hard. Did not like it as much as the first one, some peeps might get confused with the plot, but if one takes it for what it is, then they will be entertained watching the Marvel movie adaptation.

Thor 2 tries to live up to the success of the first, and it nearly succeeds. The plot involving dark elves seeking to destroy the universe has its moments. There are some great comedy bits involving Stellan Skaarsgard, but his character does not have the presence he had in the first. Likewise with Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston- more Loki please! Overall, I was satisfied with the movie, but am looking forward to Avengers 2.

I am fan of Marvel comics and the entire genre overall. Thor is a strong character in the comic world but the translation to film has been a little rough (not terrible). This outing I felt was better than the first in regards to action, special effects but it could have been a little stronger on the story. This aside, I felt the movie overall was entertaining and still on board to see a sequel...just maybe not on opening night.

The plot is a bit clunky at times, and some of the jokes fizzle. That being said, the development of Loki's character is excellent. The other "bad guys" are decently interesting. The effects and camera work are both great. As always, there are great teasers for what is to come in subsequent Marvel movies, and this feels like a step into a more expansive storyline. For that reason, it is a fun and satisfying viewing experience.

Loki steals the show in this movie. His strong acting performance continues from Thor 1 and the Avengers. This movie is so much better than the first Thor. My only gripe is with the casting selection of Natalie Portman as Jane. Portman seems awkward trying to play Jane and maybe she is trying a little bit too hard. She is great in certain types of movies (Black Swan, the Professional) but so-so in others. Overall great film.

Probably the most underrated marvel movie of the franchise. Still a necessary installation.

This isn’t my fave Thor movie out of the current 3 Thor movies out... HOWEVER.... it contributed to the following awesome and epic movie of Thor:Ragnarok and serves as a huge progress to Chris Hemworth’s character development throughout the MCU.

An expansion on the whole "Asgardian" package. Tom Hiddleston steals the show as Loki, but almost everyone does a great job in there roles. I say Everyone, because unfortunately while the Dark Elves have potential as bad guys, Malekith is a terribly written bad guy. Thankfully the rest of the movie makes up for this. A good time and a fun expansion on Thor as a character.

The visual scope was captivating enough to draw us into these other worlds. The cast solidified their characters, so it was very easy to relate to them. There were a few scenes where the actions (or lack thereof) were somewhat unrealistic, such as Thor just standing there while Frigga lie dying. Overall, a lot of fun, and a movie we will watch many times.
