I was a little slow to pick this one up. Didn't find out until after the day of its release on Tuesday. Had no idea that everyone went crazy to get this steelbook version. Practically sold-out everywhere! Walmart had it $1.00 cheaper but you didn't get the steelcase. This movie and contents were great. I enjoyed it much more than the first Thor movie. Steelbook did not include a DVD though, so you have one empty disc holder.

Marvel is doing a great job with all of the Avenger character movies! I would have given it five stars but it wasn't as good as the first movie. I hated thst there was no option to buy this movie in the, what I consider standard, bluray/DVD combo pack. I opted for the 3d bluray/bluray combo, mainly because I have a 3d tv and no 3d movies. But now I can only watch this movie on one tv in my house, only one bluray player : (

Sequels always have a tough time living up to the original....Dark World is no exception....The Earth and Asgard connection , which should be the glue that holds the story together sometimes flounders in it's presentation.....Thor is once again played to the hilt by Chris Helsmworth.....the hammer doesn't get much action this time..... I give it a B+

Thor starts and ends with a bang. It is a great next step in the Marvel universe and I can't wait for the next one. This movie has plenty of action, but it takes the time to not forget a little bit of humor along the way. The special effects are definitely another step up from the previous Thor movie. Can't wait for the next chapter in this storyline.

We enjoyed Thor the dark world very much. We love the chemistry between Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman. Tom Hiddleston is fantastic as Loki. Anthony Hopkins as always isthe best. This movie was action packed . My family enjoyed this movie and is looking forwarded to the next Avengers and or another adventure with Thor and Jane and their friends.

Thor the dark world is better than the first movie and you get to see thor and loki work together for the first time to save the earth and someone gets the girl.the 3d is awesome.i watched it on a Panasonic vt 30 looks great and the home theater system just adds.it is killer you will enjoy thor the dark world if you like that kind of superhero movie

The steelbook is beautiful. The movie isn't very good. Got this for my Marvel collection

Finally another Marvel movie in need of a Steelbook. Very cool exclusive steelbook in 4K.

I liked all the Marvel movies. My adult son(s) and I would go see them as new releases. I decided to purchase the collection in 4K so I could enjoy them again. I look forward to life settling down sometime so I can take the time to watch them!

I love THOR. This movie gets shunned by everyone, but I like the love story aspect of it, which is important if you read the comics and enjoy THOR's world. Jane Foster is important to the narrative and this movie explores that aspect more.

This movie is fantastic. The acting is on point and the story is better than the first movie. One drawback for me is that a few of the characters are played by different actors which is frustrating. All in all, this movie leaves me very excited to see where the Avengers franchise heads. What an epic idea Marvel had when attempting this endeavor.

I purchased this movies only because of 3D, and it did not disappoint. I enjoy the movie very much and if you are a 3D collector and Marvel fan, this one won't disappoint. I wish Disney don't discontinue publishing 3D blu-ray in US. There are quite a lot of us who really enjoy watching super heroes in 3D.

Thor the dark world marks the second entry in the story of the avengers god of thunder. Fresh off the avengers movie loki is incarerated for his crimes against midgard. A new menace arises in the dark elves and the evil dark elf lord malekeith. In a movie that ties in the upcoming guardians of the galaxy and captain america the winter soldier .

While the second Thor movie Into the Darkness starts off a little slow and boring, it ends spectacularly with the defeat of Maleketh. It is full of plenty of humor and banter. Loki is sceeming to get the upper hand.The special effects were very good along with the action. I recomend this movie if you want to have a couple of mindless fun hours.

I like to purchase my movies at BestBuy since the prices are very competitive to other major retailers online and in stores. In addition, earning rewards makes BestBuy my first choice in making movie purchases. The movie came with extras, as they usually come with. I wish they offered a Blu-ray and DVD combo like they did with the first movie.

Marvel continues to outdo itself with it's superhero universe. I wasn't a huge fan of the first Thor, feeling it was slow and not very exciting. The Dark World raises it up a few notches and had it all. Great story, great effects, lot's of action and the eternally beautiful Natalie Portman. If you are a Marvel Universe fan, see this movie.

Have heard good things about this movie since it was released in Theaters and In-Store. However, never got a chance to watch until I just picked it up on Blu Ray. Trying to watch all the MCU movies in order in order to fully understand all the subtle plot points in the whole scheme of things.

Originally thinking most of the individual movies in the MCU were simply there to setup the various Avengers flicks, I've been pleasantly surprised just how good, and how varied, the films are. both of the first 2 thor movies are amazing in their own right and incredibly different than the others.

I know i am not alone in this when I say it is VERY annoying that you advertise exclusive Best Buy steel book versions with sale pricing but don't send more than a small hand full so that if anyone wanted one they would have to camp out on your doorstep overnight before release in order to beat the mad dash for the pitiful number available.

Thor: the Dark World continues the solo adventures of Thor after the Avengers. This film is darker than the films before but delves more into the life in Aasgard than in previous films. You also get to see the evolving relationship with Thor and Dr. Jane Foster. But there are plenty of laughs as well mostly at the hands of Dr. Selvig. If you like the Marvel Universe you will not be disappointed in this film.
