The plot and pacing of the movie was uneven. Too much action not enough drama!

Thor: The Dark World is one of the better entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Director Alan Taylor does a great job integrating this stand alone picture into the whole universe. Tom Hiddleston once again steals the movie as Loki, Thor's adopted brother. The overall action and special effects were great. I loved this film!

Great followup to Thor and Avengers. Lots of screen play for Loki, but wish there was more. Every scene with Thor and Loki become the highlights of the movie. Glad I went with a 3D tv because it's very affective in this movie. As with any Marvel movie, there's a lot of extra material in looking at behind the scene's and such.

While I like the direction the movie was trying to take, it misses the mark.

The movie was very entertaining on a whole, Tom Hiddleston is still great as Loki. The visuals of Asgard are stunning and there is a great and unexpected use of humor in what I would have otherwise expected to be a story of pure drama and action. The one-shot was entertaining, though many of the other extra features were just the run-of-the-mill extras typically found on these blurays/dvds

This was a really great follow up to the 1st Thor movie . I really thought the movie had a great plot and the action was non stop. Picture was amazing along with the audio . I would highly recommend this for the action movie buff. And to top it off the Steel Book collectable was the icing on the cake , reall sweet looking .

Marvel continues to step up their game in each of their respective franchises, and TDW expands on Thor's corner of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) in very effective ways. Features-wise, the disc doesn't disappoint, especially with the new One-Shot "All Hail The King", featuring the polarizing "Mandarin". Without giving anything away, hardcore fans will be VERY pleased with this short.

$19.99 was a great price for a 4k steel case. I don't know why there's not more love for this movie, but then Thor has been my fave since I was a child. I haven't watched this 4k yet. I waiting for lockdown to end so I can have friends over.

The film looks absolutely amazing on Blu-ray. And the feature extras add to a marvel fans enjoyment and those who have a passion for films. My only flaw is that there wasn't a DVD combo, so it makes sharing the movie difficult. All in all, the Gag Reel is great, extras (behind the scenes) and the movie it's self are great.

Glad the God of Thunder is back in action but not in such a vulnerable light(he is Infact the God of Thunder)! He got his butt handed to him through out the movie and never really served up some hammer time of his own.I think they could've showcased him in a little better light.I didn't mind him getting his butt handed to him as long as he was able to show why he is know as the thunderer.

The 3D is amazing for home viewing. This sequel is way better than part 1. The action and comedy are equally balanced. Scene in the end credits has me looking forward to future Marvel movies (more clear if you have "common" knowledge of the Marvel Universe) . I did not review dvd extras because I don't bother seeing those.

Thor is another great Marvel movie. So glad the stuck more to the comics then just real life events. It’s a good escape from the real and sometimes mundane world. Marvel has made an amazing line up of movies and brought them to an amazing finale.

I liked the first Thor movie more, but this is still a great sequel. I think Alan Taylor did a better job directing--you can see what's happening during the fights more clearly, while in the first movie it was quite dark. This movie has the same great balance of humor and action, and more great performances by a wonderful ensmable cast.

This was a step up from the first Thor film and really hit some great world sweeping notes. The acting continues the Marvel journey of good actors portraying well thought out roles. The action was spectacular and there are many great twists throughout. Marvel continues their add on feature list with the addition of a continuation of Iron Man 3 with the Mandarin character. Great stuff.

This is a really fun movie, and has more depth in terms of story & visual presence (in essence, this is a more engaging movie) as compared to the first one. In sections the 3D is pretty good, in others it just gives me a headache. Overall, a fun movie. I am interested to see where they go with the 3rd installment.

Chris Hemsworth shines as usual as Thor, and Natalie Portman steps up her previous performance as his love interest from Earth, but the real star (again) is Thom Hiddleston as Loki, the brother who loves to be bad. When all Asgardians are threatened by a race long forgotten, Thor and Loki team up (in that dysfunctional family way that only they can) to defend their family honor.

Thor seemed like a definite second class Avenger compared to Iron Man in the first Thor movie as well as in Avengers. This movie made his character more interesting in comparison to the other Avenger characters. Like I said, the cinematography was excellent, and the story wasn't half bad. Thor 2 was fun movie that remains watchable after the first time, making it a great movie to own.

Very good movie with tons of great action. The 3D really brings the action to life and the surround sound effects are amazing too. Great movie and would recommend it to anyone. Be sure to watch it in total darkness though as the move is pretty dark and would be hard to see if there is a lot of sunlight filling the room.
