Not much of a review. I haven't seen the movie yet but grabbed this steelbook as I thought it would be rare, and it is. Waiting for standard blu-ray from library to watch film, then if I like I keep the steelbook, if not I sell it and make a few bucks. Just reviewing for free points. :)

Marvel rocks and this movie is awesome! I love everything about it, and the blu-ray looks awesome. The extras are fun to watch, too. I would recommend anyone that love action adventure to buy this movie. Also having the digital copy we are able to watch it on any of our mobile devices.

Loved the movie and it's a great addition to the Avengers storyline telling the story of the dark elves and the Ether which is one of the elements of Thano's Gauntlet which is crucial to future Avenger movies. The downside, when the world is ending, where are the rest if the Avengers?

This movie gets way too much hate and is not that bad

The movie is great but the 4K quality is average at best.

Who doesn't love a good super hero movie? No one. What's even better is a super hero movie with a great plot, good acting and the right number of humorous moments without making a movie cheesy. Thor, the dark world captures all of this. It is a movie I will enjoy time and time again.

It was a great sequel....what a great twist from the first movie, I really loved all the animation, the graphics and the twist on the difference from the first movie. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family. I watched until the very end and can't wait for the next movie.

The movie is great... anyone who enjoys Tom Hiddleston's (sp) Loki will love this. It is his best effort thus far. The special features are just ok, but I do have to say the marvel on shot "All Hail the King" surprised me as I initially hated what they did with the Iron Man three (spoiler) twist with the Manderin, This almost makes up for it.

I think the Thor movies are the best in 3d. The first one was the first ever 3d I have seen and it is my favorite movie. So since this movie has even more action and romance to offer and was just as great as the first one. I would recommend it as a movie to buy and play many times!!!

Worst MCU film but needed it to complete the collection.

I love all the marvel movies, thor is the latest addition to my collection. The original Thor was shot in my home state of New Mexico so I have to support. Also, i really liked all the twists to the story in this one. Stay tuned after the credits theres 2 bonus scenes in this movie!

I absolutely enjoyed the first Thor movie, and this sequel, Thor The Dark World, is magnificent! The movie is a thrill to watch with plenty of action, comedy, tragedy, and heroism. The story is truly captivating, and you have to love the mythology built into the movie. A must watch!

Great Movie, The price finally went down for an older movie..Eventually Disney will get the hint when these Blu-ray’s sit on the store shelf’s and collect dust. Keep the price reasonable. Thanks

Was disappointed that the Best Buy Exclusive Thor/Book package was sold out. It was that product that made us purchase the new Blue Ray from Best Buy and not a competitor. Sales people were helpful by looking it up but only after asking three other team mates. My husband decided to just go ahead with the purchase without the exclusive book.

Good improvement on this movie compared to previous Thor, showing more the difference between "brothers" and making them more apart and why there's no coming back in their friendship. Indeed, the villain plays a secondary role on this story of the conflict between two brothers.

Another excellent installment in the Marvel Universe! Despite a few slow spots the actors give their all to bring these comic book Icons to life. There's enough love story for the ladies and enough action to keep the guys happy. Loki once again though steels the show...a truly great actor. It's just a FUN movie period. Highly recommended!

was ok, not great, the quality is very good and good sound

Saw it in theaters and wanted this on blue-Picture quality is superb and the sound really rocks my sound system..The 3-d version isn't as great as the regular blu, but both of them are great,,,Not much on sequels, but this was almost as good as the first..Highly recommend ..Buy It!

Thor tries to save Jane Foster as he teams with Loki to save Earth and Asgard. In the end Loki is up to his usual treachery. As always, Natalie Portman is easy on the eyes.

Thor: The Dark World is the Sequel to Thor and in some ways it's also a sequel to the Avengers. The collectors pack contains a 3-D Blu Ray and regular 2-D Blue Ray but no DVD. The visuals and action are very good but the story is a bit repetitive. The world is at risk plot can only work so many times. Make sure you watch the blooper reel!
