My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Action, comedy and an interesting storyline. The acting is strong and the film is great for the family. Kids and adults will enjoy this film. The extras are worth paying a bit more to see, but great price for this set at Best Buy!!!

As a movie, it’s pretty good. Too much “convenient” scenes to keep the plot going. I don’t have a 4k TV yet, but the picture quality down converted to 1080p on my PJ, it looks fine. Disney is not demo quality for their audio. Leaves a lot to be desired.

Very strong addition to the Marvel film franchise!.. Great sound and picture quality.. reference quality blu-ray.. 3D picture is decent.. darkness of film takes away some of the 3d effect.. Great looking steelbook.. Larger scope and more epic quality than the first Thor film.

Not my favorite of the Thor MCU films but not the worst.

The movie was a lot of fun and action. The add on for 3D for that price was awesome never really see that from Disney. The biggest thing I did not like was the digital copy only be used for one thing. Wish I would of known that before entering it. Over all the movie is great/

movie is good but best buy is horrible (I had a few choice words for them but it wouldn't go through) they should learn to teach their employees on how to promote stuff and not screw over the customers

Like the other Avengers films, this is a solid superhero film. The filmmakers do a great job of blending humor in with all of the action. My only really big issue with this film is that not much is done with the character that is supposed to be the bad guy. Sometimes you forget about him because most of the focus is on Loki & Thor

I saw this movie in theaters and I really enjoyed it. When I knew it was coming out on Blue-Ray I wanted to buy it from Best Buy because they tend to have one of the best movie selections. The only thing is that I wish there new releases sale prices for Blue-ray were better.

At minimum Thor: The Dark World does what any fan would require, that is, progress the storyline of our beloved demi-god Thor. The film lacks quality pacing though. If this were an origin film I'd be worried about the franchise. Given the history and potential for future films I think fans are ok. Portman's return is welcomed too!

I loved this movie, which is why I bought the blu-ray. However, to get a DVD or Digital copy of the movie, you have to buy the 3D version of the blu-ray. Since I do not have 3D technology in my home, it did not make sense for me to buy the 3D disc. It would have been nice if the digital copy was offered with both blu-ray versions.

Thor was a great action movie, had wonderfully funny lines, and held true for the most part to the comics. Some of the lines were both predictable and not well delivered, but this isn't exactly Shakespeare. If you want a great Saturday night action film this is a good pick!

Thor:The Dark World is a wonderful movie. I liked this movie better than the first one. I like how the plot continues from the first movie, but all the Marvel movies will do this because they will all eventually connect with each other. Get this for your movie collection.

Enjoyed the plot. Loki was actually likeable in this one. Left you waiting for the next release, with a new character to worry about. Still want to see how Thor's romance will work out, since he's immortal and Jane is not. Left you wondering what happened to Thor's father.

I love the Avengers movies so I had to have this one. Usually I watch at the theater but I didn't make it to Thor:The Dark World. I must admit this is not my favorite Avenger movie. The story was slow to get started and at times very predictable. But overall, a good movie.

Thor 2 picks up where Avengers leaves us as far as Thor is concerned. It also continues with where Thor's first movie left off plot-wise as all of the Avengers have their own things to deal with. Story and action were amazing and set up some great stuff for the next movie.

Big fan of all the Marvel studios films from Iron Man on! Liked 1st Thor, and was a given I'd pick up this one too. I love to get digital copies with my blu-rays, but I wish it didn't only come with the 3D version since I don't have a 3D TV. Oh well, it's still a great addition to the Marvel movie-verse, and a great blu-ray set.

Another great installment in the Marvel movieverse. Thor was one of the movies that I was most worried about when they started pumping these out....but Thor surprised me, and Thor 2 is more of the same. Just a lot of fun. Highly recommended to Marvel fans and movie fans.

Currently rewatching all of the movies in chronological order. The effects in this one are great. The Steelbook is stunning. I’m glad they released all of the ones that weren’t available on 4K Blu-ray.

First time seeing this was on dvd, and I thought it was one of the best Marvel movies to date. Tom Hiddleston is the best character in the Thor movies and he doesn't disappoint in this one. Plenty of twists and turns from the plot and plenty of action make a great movie.

Thor: The Dark World offers a great look into the relationship between Thor and Loki while also hinting at great things to come in the MCU; i.e. Thor Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity Wars. The special effects coordination in this movie are also top notch, as with nearly all revamped MCU films.
