Great movie and best buy had a great price for the 3d version it was a no brainer. I have loved all the marvel movies and this one is no exception. I was just as excited for the after credits as I was for the movie and marvel didn't disappoint on either.

While it may be easy to dismiss this as "just another Marvel movie," and it does feel like filler in the grand scheme of their cinematic universe, it picks up all the threads left dangling from the first Thor movie and the follow-up Avengers film. If you like Marvel movies, you can't go wrong with this one.

We love these Marvel Comic movies. Great family entertainment suitable for a wide range of ages. I have two teens and a tween, and we all enjoyed it. The picture and effects on blu-ray are stunning. Very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend it.

This movie reminds us of how heroes should be. Thor is an exciting, feel good movie that creates a thrilling escape into a world of legends and heroes. Chris Hemsworth does a superior job of portraying the main hero and you cannot help but get caught up in their world of good versus evil.

The 3d conversion in this movie is much better than the first Thor movie. There is much more depth. This could be a result of more scenery variation in this movie compared to the first, but it just seems as though the conversion was done with more care.

We really enjoyed this action film! I am a fan of Thor and was excited to see the Marvel universe expand with him being a cinematic part of the story. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up for a great action movie that can be enjoyed multiple times!!

I picked up thor the dark world 3d with steelbook case!!!!! its great. clean and great looking front art and thors cape goes to the back as the spine helps it reach the end!! I hope best buy releases a frozen 3d steelbook and capt America one as well!!!

This Thor movie was better then the original. Much more and better overall plot. The villain is a one-note comic book villain, but since this is a movie based on a comic, I give it a pass on that. The best part though is the Marvel One Shot that is an extra to the movie. The extra alone was worth the cost.

My wife and I watched this and we both love it. The entire cast are the best to watch on screen. This is the first 3D movie I watched at home and was amazed by the quality. There wasn't a dull moment in the movie and is far better than the first Thor.

This is a must see movie! Marvel never fails to up the bar with each & every movie! This movie is action packed, exciting, has excellent effects, and I love the back & forth between Thor and Loki! This is one that you will want to own rather than rent!

As always, this Marvel blu rocks. My only wish with these Marvel movies is that they would have some form of extra footage IN the movie, like for a director's cut. If FX can show these movies with added footage, they should be available on the Blurays.

Once again, Marvel has come out with a great movie, but I'm guessing if you are reading these reviews, you already know that. This particular one is in a Steelbook packaging which, quite honest, is your standard Steelbook packaging, but it looks great.

Highly recommend for any Super Hero fan. Thrilled with receiving it on the first day that stores were able to offer it. Great price and service with Best Buy, would recommend purchasing any future Blue-rays or DVDs through them before going else where.

This movie allows you to become immersed into another world and is absolutely beautiful. It also has several plot twists and turns that catch you off guard with a surprising ending. If you have not seen this movie yet - it is time to buy the blue ray.

I bought this version to get the improved video and audio of the 4k ultra and it is a small improvement over the blu-ray version. The movie itself is great but I'm a big fan of Marvel.

I recommend this movie to anyone, especially if you are into the Marvel Series characters. I have watched these characters growing up & now my children are hooked on the characters as well. Keep up the great work. Anxiously awaiting for the 3rd one!!!

The movie was awesome. Even better than the first. The only thing I did not like was the blu ray / 3D combo pack. I didn't even realize they made those. I was expecting a DVD in addition. That was a bit of a disappointment. But overall amazing movie.

My husband loved the constant action scenes in this movie, I missed the connections forged between the characters during the first movie. I felt like they were trying to fit so much into one movie, that the left out all the dialogue that makes it interesting. It wasn't a bad movie, just not a favorite.

The Marvel Universe goes on with very entertaining movies. Thor: The Dark World is a continuation of the Asgardian world with new characters introduced. There is a lot of action and the acting is very good.

If you liked the first movie, you'll love this one. It one-ups it in almost every way. It's much more epic. All the favorite characters are back. It has a lot of action, some humor, and the back and forth between Thor and Loki is as good as ever. Definitely worth a watch for comic book and sci fi fans.
