This is a better story and overall movie than the 1st one, which I highly enjoyed. If you are a Marvel fan this is a no brainer. If you just like a good movie with good story, set pieces and acting this is a no brainer.

it was a great movie with lots of action. I would recommend the 3d version if u have a 3d tv and blue ray player. it has a lot of funny scenes as well. you must watch the movie to the very end. makes you wonder what the next thor will be about.

The clarity of this picture is fantastic. The construction and presentation of these limited edition steelbooks also add to the luster if you are a collector. highly recommended.

We love all the Avengers movies and this one doesn't disappoint. The 3D was ok and actually pretty good for the live action shots. The shots blended with too many special effects appear a little weird and take you out of immersion. It wasn't really bad, just noticeable.

I have enjoyed both Thor movies. I feel like this one does a much better job of bringing the characters together. The only real downside I saw in this movie was Odin's attitude. Thor was much more serious as well. One of the things I enjoyed about the first movie was Thor's cockiness and humor.

Action packed movie with great acting. Gained a better appreciation and understanding of Asgard. It showed their humanistic side. Ability to involve multiple characters with a good amount of air time and not take away from story was very good.

I recommend only to people like me who basically just collect things with little judtified reason (I have all the MCU's). Thor 2 is about as middle of the road irrelevent an experience as the MCU can muster. The villains once again are uninteresting, their plan is confusing. And the stakes are really rather low cause apparently Death isnt really a literary notion the MCU people believe in relying on. Nobody really dies. Well they might but it probably wont be for real nor have any lasting value. This movie had a chance to end on a bold/sad/sensible note. And does. Until it doesnt and undoes itself. I wont spoil it but if youve seen it you know what I'm talking about. This movie, like the first Thor, has 'meh' written allover it.

Fun action filled tale of Thor having to save his family and friends once more. The characters are neat in this film. I love the story and backstory on the Thor universe. Must see before watching Ragnarok.

Thor doing what he does best in his second film! Definitely not one of my favorite movies in the MCU still a solid entry!

First, the steelbook packaging is awesome. The USA gets very few steelbooks versus how many are released in other parts of the world. Second, the movie was great too. It wasn't as good as the first one, but very good when it comes to sequels.

Good movie, not great. Must own for all the MCU fans. I dislike that the recent marvel releases make you buy the 3D BR if you want a digital copy included. I just want BR (not 3D) and a digital HD copy. Is that too much to ask?

Two huge thumbs up :) My friend Melissa Cooper introduced me to the Thor movie series. I have a history of favoring DC characters but, I am very grateful that I listened to Roco as she was absolutely right about how great the Thor series is.

The Thor series continues to improve, the action and suspense is what an action junkie likes to see they continue to bring nonstop action and great plots. I'm looking forward to the next avengers and whatever else Marvel brings to the table.

This is just a continuation of the Thor series. The first one was great and the second one was just as good. Usually the sequel to movies are bad but this was not. I highly recommend it if want action and a fan of this and the overall series

I was a comic book fan for many years growing up I really am starting to finally enjoy super hero movies.The costumes are looking far better than I ever imagined.This flick is no exception.Plenty of action,Asgard is sweet to look at,the characters are all pretty cool and I like the story also.

While Thor: Dark World brings back almost every key actor from the first Thor Movie, it lacks the engaging storyline that some of the other Marvel movies possess. That said, it was still an entertaining film, filled with some unforeseen plot twists. Don't forget to stay through the credits!

I love the character of Thor, and this movie did him justice. The new villain is great, and the lovely Miss Portman is back too. For some reason that I can't really put my finger on, this fell just a little short of the first movie. Here's hoping the 3rd turns out better than both of them!

While it is not reflective of the history of the comicbook storyline I am familiar with, it does well for people who are now getting the opportunity to see what the original authors created. Hopefully the third movie as proposed for 2017 will be more true to the story overall.

Wont be dissapointed in this purchase. Great flick and the effects and surround sound at the house is nice to be able to crank it up rather than the level that the theater gave me! Some say not necessary in 3D but thats the way I liked it!
