Had to add this to my Thor collection. Exciting, plenty of action and sometimes sad. The movie tells you of one of the infinity stones. Great buy.

Started watching and had to stop half way thru. Made me want to watch the first movie again. than go back to this movie. the action, sound, and story are awesome. Even watched all the extra's. mandarin short is a must see bonus.

The movie runs like a Valkyrie ride! It's big, pompous, and full of fun! Loki, the asgaardian villian, is always full of surprises. Without spoiling anything, there is quite a lot of "camp" and fun in the movie. Pick up the DVD.

When I was a little kid I read all the comic books I could, now being an adult I get to feel like a little kid again by watching these movies. Love what Marvel is doing with these movies and hope they continue with much success.

Thor The Dark World, exceeded my expectation. Not sure how it was going to turn out with Game of Thrones director, but he did an awesome job. A bit of a cliff hanger ending, makes you think what Marvel has in store for a third Thor movie. But I guess we will have to wait and see

This was a birthday present, and the person loved it and was very happy to receive it. They were happy with the DVD instead of a blu-ray, which I couldn't decide on which to get. He likes the whole Thor series of movies so far.

Please note that I purchased this steelbook for $14.99 when it was on sale so this was an excellent purchase in my opinion. It's a no brainer if it's at that price.

I loved seeing more Loki and love the actor. Actually all the actors in the movie are great actors. The story though was a little flat and not as much fun and intriguing as the first. Still like Thor's story since it is not one the comic heroes that I followed while growing up.

I really love the Steelbook 3D version of Thor The Dark World that was exclusive to Best Buy. I was a bit skeptical that Marvel could follow up the first Thor movie but they kept the story interesting and the action was superb!

Thor returns Loki to Asgard to answer for his crimes committed in "The Avengers". While Loki deals with Odin's sentence Thor has to fight off the Dark Elves with the help of mortal girlfriend Jane and eventually help from Loki.

Picked this up for my husband who's a huge marvels fan. We both loved it when it came out in theatre's and finally picked it up to add to our collection. Honestly I prefer this movie over the first one.

There isn't much to say about a video recording except I enjoy watching TV series sequentially and I love the fact I don't have to physically go to the store to purchase it. I like purchasing on line and having it mailed to me.

Marvel again scores with another great addition to the Avenger universe. If you liked the first Thor, you will love this one. Better action sequence, better adversary (since Loki was only pulling the strings in the first Thor)

The movie itself is VERY good. If I were only rating the film itself. But this package is not a five star product. I don't want a Blu-ray/3D pack. I want a DVD/Blu-ray pack, which I thought had become the norm. The Steelbook is the main reason I bought this. Still recommended!

Another Thor entry in the MCU. This was better than the first Thor in every aspect. The characters and story were fleshed out more. It also impacts the MCU which is a must watch if you're a fan.

Wasn't sure where the story line was going to be after seeing Thor. After watching Thor (The Dark World) in DTS 7.1, enjoyed the story line, audio and the sequence of events in the action of special effects. I would recommend to those who enjoy magical, fantasy action movies.

You can’t get a better picture or sound with physical media. I have streaming services, but 4K eats up my allowed monthly data and it’s compressed.

Excellent comic book story loved the Loki character. Brings us up to date with the two brothers after their first visit to earth and the struggle they share of accepting each others gifts and differences in their fathers eyes.

I hated this movie when I saw it in theaters. It's still not a great film, but it was more enjoyable for me the second time around. It did a decent job of building the world of Asgard and the Realms.

The characters are known by this time but Tim Hiddleston runs away with the movie as Loki, God of mischief. Plot is pretty standard for scifi/fantasy movies these days, some decent humor and all in all a good popcorn movie. More of a rental than a buy but to each his/her own.
