This movie is a very good dvd set to get if you are a fan of marvel comics or Thor. The movie does well as a second in the series and does not make the viewer wish they had stopped after the first one, it makes you want more.

They really need to give Thor more to do. His opponents don't seem to be of the same caliber of other super heroes. I was a huge fan of the comics back in the '80's. Not sure I would give two flips about this character if these movies were my introduction to him. Have Walt Simonson write the screenplay for the next movie - he seemed to KNOW the character. Very nice PORTAL bits towards the end, but it just made me wish they'd make a PORTAL movie. Good cast, lots of pretty colors and flashy bits; but honestly? I don't remember very much about it and I only watched it last week.

The Dark World is a good follow up to the first movie. It has a good mix of action and humor, and the plot is sufficient enough that it leaves you looking forward to the next movie. Pick up the Best Buy steel book if you can.

Overall this is a great movie! I can't think of anything bad to say about it. Make sure you watch through the credits to find the hidden scenes that Marvel movies love to put in. You won't be disappointed with this purchase!

This is the reason I tend to prefer to get the movies on disc rather than download or even see in the theater. Not just an amazing film but the extras make this an out of this world experience. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The Thor sequel didnt disappoint! A really nice and exciting story and the actors have really grown into their roles. Loki is the villain you love to hate. can't wait for Avengers 2 and Thor 3!! great gag real on the dvd too!

I purchased this item as part of the total MCU Infinity War story line. This movie does well to build on the story line as well as stand on it's own as a good movie to watch. The character development is good and it is an enjoyable movie.

Don't know why this particular Marvel film took so long to drop in price, other newer releases were cheaper on the shelf, but it's a darn good film and one that fan boys have to watch to stay in the Avenger's story arc.

Thor 2 is better than Thor one in my opinion. The marvel universe is putting out some great movies and this is no exception. It also adds to the greater infinity gauntlet story line while expanding on the characters and worlds of the marvel universe.

Great follow up to the first Thor movie what makes it even better is how they are linking all the marvel movies. Soon we will be able to have a Marvel Movie weekend. I hope they add Spider-Man and the X-Men to future movies.

Great movie, as always great connection with all the other movies from Marvel. Collectible steelbook is a plus. 3D was OK as with all the other 3D movies but nothing impressive, and now looking forward to more Marvel movies!

Honestly, even at our age we loved the action. Bringing America's Heroes to life in a Grand Way ! Lots of action throughout the movie. We really didn't want it to end. Can't wait for the next one in this series to come out !

I enjoyed this movie a lot. I picked it up the day it was released since it was on sale. It did lack special features but it did have the one-shots that fans enjoy tying into Iron Man 3. Great movie, I suggest picking it up.

The movie has some great action scenes. Does an excellent job setting up the next Thor movie. Movie mostly shines when Loki is on screen. Also the Marvel One Shot movie(part of the special features) was very good.

I love all the Marvel movies by Disney. All the actors in this movie captivate you and transport you to Asgard. It truly is an adventurous and magical journey you take with these characters. Can't wait till THOR 3 comes out!

A superbly done film. The main actors have been given the opportunity to expand their characters that were introduced in the first film. The story/plot is well crafted and keeps the audience interested in the film's outcome.

What was great about Thor that differentiates from Captain America and Iron Man is that it brings you to an entirely new world... where magic and science are the same! I loved the banter between Loki and Thor, although I was somewhat disappointed with the story arc of Loki.

My husband always like to go to Best Buy for some cable that he needs, too see the deals on the computers, etc etc, my son in law is a customer too.

This movie gets a lot of crap, but I personally loved it. Chris hemsworth stepped up his game and the graphics were great. Good character development and laughs anchored this movie and I definitely preferred this over the first Thor.

Hemsworth Started To Come Into His Own At This Point & Really Give Thor Some Depth. Hiddleston Still Shines As Loki, While Hopkins & Russo Also Get Their Moments To Remember. Unfortunately That’s The Best Part Of This Sequel, Because The Earth Elements Are Doubled Down On & Sillier Than Before, While Also Delivering A One Note, Forgettable Villain. I Think The Visuals & Art Direction Improve In This Film & The Sci-Fi/Mythology Are Embraced More, But Story, Relationships & Characters Fall Flat & Leave Little Want Of More...Until Taika Changed It Up In Ragnarok! Lol
