I purchased this BlueRay for my boy's dad's birthday. As far as I know, the movie inside the package is the same as the one on the cover. Good job to the packaging folks. I look forward to purchasing more BlueRays!

Disney continues to add to the Marvel movie line with this epic. Continuing on where the Avengers left off, Thor The Dark World takes the asgardian to the next level. A third sequel is more then guaranteed upon the conclusion of this movie. Definitely a must see movie!

The return of the main actors, along with the addition of new characters, and an overall great story line, make this a great super-hero movie. The twist at the end of the movie is also a great teaser for the next movie.

In my opinion, this is the best movie of the Avengers bunch (that is, until Winter Soldier). The plot was simple, the cast of characters just the right size, and who could get enough of Loki? I'm loving Phase II so far.

Thor: The Dark World is a lot deeper than a lot of people who did not follow the comics can understand. The gems set the tone for the Infinity series and Thanos, who is one of the greatest villains in comic book history. Excellent movie and can't wait for the next one.

Essential to any movie collector. The 4k upscaling really makes a difference.

The movie was great. All the actors and actresses were very believable and professional. I always enjoy a good superhero movie, but this one exceeded my expectations and fit in perfectly with the Marvel Cinema universe.

I loved the first Thor and it has many of the same characters, it had a good story line and left me wanting more! This I believe was even better than the first! There are two scenes during the credits that you must see!

This is a great movie, lots of action & I just think the actors are perfect in their parts. I purchase all my movies from Best Buy & I like that I am treated well & if I happen to see a lower price they match it for me.

Well all I could say is that is a great movie, price was good but it didn't really have everything I wanted.but yet I would recommend a friend it may not have everything I wanted but that doesn't mean that it isnt good.

Great movie from a great collection. I am filling in gaps with 4k and repurchasing to upgrade from DVD and Blu-ray because the quality is so much better.

This movie is fantastic and great if you are a fan of the other Marvel movies. The special effects are fantastic and even held my 6/7 yr olds attention. Don't miss this movie and dont forget to watch after the credits.

Bought this as gift for a family member however I also own this movie as well. Love the clarity of the 4K version. The movie is very good.

Thor: The Dark World is a far better movie than Thor was, and I really enjoyed the first movie. They poke a lot of fun at the first movie, too. It's got loads of humor and continues the Marvel/Avengers universe overall movie story lines. Get ready for some great fun!

I had high hopes that this would be better than the first Thor movie since so much of that one involved introduction and set up. The Dark World launches directly into action, the problem is that it never makes you care about any of it. While the ending battle in the Avengers made you want to stand up and cheer, this one gives you nothing really to celebrate, and Thor still refuses to wear his helmet in battle. Tom Huddleston as Loki, once again steals the show and Kat Demmings, even though she is now monumentally famous as one of The Two Broke Girls, provides some needed humor and heart to an otherwise heartless movie. The special effects are great but the combined effect of all the action without any true drama is ultimately boredom.

There are a few pieces to the plot that don't really make sense, but they make for a great movie. Overall plot was pretty solid... great acting, action, and filming. Definitely one of the better Marvel movies to date.

Decent sequel with lots of action and great visuals but definitely not as good as the first movie. I still would recommend taking the time to watch it. Of course the cast is great. Overall, I enjoyed the movie enough at the theatre to purchase it for the collection.

I was reading Marvel comics since the early 70's and never thought they could bring characters like Thor to life on the big screen that would come close to what I pictured in my mind. These movies keep getting better!

If you are a fan of marvel and all the great superhero movies they put out this is a most own. It's darker and more action packed than the first and introduces new and exciting characters to the marvel movie universe.

A good sequel to a great first movie. This one is not as epic and breathtaking as the first. But the story continues further. It will be fun to see how this movie is referenced in the upcoming Marvel series of movies.
