I'm a HUGE Thor fan. If you're new to the franchise, I recommend at least watching Thor and The Avengers (first of each) before watching The Dark World to get the full background. The 3D Bluray combo pack has plenty of extras, I haven't watched them all yet but I'm planning on it soon.

The steelbook is cool. I think the original release version is better. That aside, the quality of the 4K for Marvel films isn't that great. Most were filmed in 2K anyway, so they aren't even native 4K. IMO the blu-ray looks better in terms of picture quality

I love getting these Steelbooks on the deal of the day. Would never buy them otherwise. Packaging is very impressive. I'm a huge Marvel fan, and appreciate the booklets that come with the movie. Keep em coming!

First off, I'm not too sure as to why The Dark World is not well received, personally I enjoyed it better than the original Thor. Story wise, it was very good, and the visual presentation was great as well especially when watching it in 3D. I recommend it.

I thought this was a fantastic follow up to the first Thor film. It was nice to see returning characters & new ones introduced. The extras on the disc were awesome & in particular the Marvel One-Shot " All Hail The King" was spot on fantastic! I would & have recommended this movie to all my friends.

I have been very pleased with all the Marvel movies so far and think they are getting better and better. With that said this Thor movie I believe was better then the first due to all the action. What would have made it better would have been a camero of the hulk at the end. However still a great movie and ending. If you like the first one you'll like this one.

I love this movie..cause it has it all. Has comedy. Romance. Has lots of action. Plot twists that keep you glued to your seat. Entertaining. Goes in detail about Loki. Thor happy to be in love. He doesn't care about becoming king. He wants to be a good man .shows even super heroes want to be normal.

Is it a perfect replica of the comics? No. But Thor 2, like the rest of the Marvel series have been a great rendition and nod to the Marvel originals, with a new modern twist. If you take it too seriously, you'll ruin it, but if you want to kick back and enjoy a good flick, this one is exceptional!

The movie is worth the 2 hours of entertainment. The movie of course has references to the first Thor movie and the Avengers story line. That being said it does far short in some aspects. If you follow the Marvel Universe you will know the Dark Elves story arc they shoved into the movie left a number of questions your average viewer will not have answers to.

I am a huge fan of the first THOR and was anxiously waiting for The Dark World. It was an amazing movie both in 3D and on regular Blu-Ray. If you like THOR you will thoroughly enjoy this movie. It's a great movie to throw back in the player when there is nothing on and watch it over and over again.

This is a tremendous movie right up there with the other two. To me all three Thor movies are equally brilliant. All three are also right up there as far as necessary to the Marvel Universe storyline.

I am constantly on the bestbuy app in hopes of getting first up to date deals on steelbook movies. I am aware how rare they are and how fast they sell out so I appreciate that bestbuy allows for ample time to preorder such a highly demanded product and always provides great prompt shipping service.

This movie is very well done; entertaining, funny, action packed, and a great story. It does a great job of recognizing the existence of the wider Marvel Universe without sacrificing its standalone quality. The actors are great, especially Thor and Loki. I also loved how it is almost a direct lead-in to 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy. Very much recommended.

This movie is ok. Probably the most boring of the marvel movies.

At first I was a bit hesitant to buy Thor: The Dark World but I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised, not only with the films HD quality but it turned out to be a really entertaining motion picture. If you're looking to be entertained for a few hours this could be the movie for you.

Thor TDW has a great melding of fantasy, sci-fi, and comics while never taking itself so seriously that it bogs down when you think it might. Would've liked a digital copy (only available with 3D edition) and a slip cover (that's just nit-pickin'). The Marvel one-shot with the Mandarin is a hoot.

Thor: The Dark World is a middle-of-the-road Marvel movie. It's entertaining and rarely boring but if offers little in substance and doesn't further the overall plot much. The best scenes involve Thor and his brother Loki, and the worst involve the people back on Earth. The Blu-ray is great in picture quality and sound, albeit a bit overpriced.

It’s in my bottom 5 for marvel movies but still worth a watch.

Marvel-inspired latest productions (Thor, Ironman, The Avengers) have been hugely entertaining. Characters such as Tony Stark and Thor, along with secondary characters such as Odin, Black Widow and others, do bring a strong presence and a great entertaining value to these series. This installment of Thor, I dare to say, is even better than the original.

The second Thor movie does not stand up to its prequel or sequel.
