For a sequel to a blockbuster franchise this movie rates as an average comic book movie. The action sequences are well done and the characters are more dynamic, yet there are many unfilled plot holes in the film that leave the movie goer wondering what happened in between.

My husband always like to go to Best Buy for some cable that he needs, too see the deals on the computers, etc etc, my son in law is a customer too.

Hemsworth Started To Come Into His Own At This Point & Really Give Thor Some Depth. Hiddleston Still Shines As Loki, While Hopkins & Russo Also Get Their Moments To Remember. Unfortunately That’s The Best Part Of This Sequel, Because The Earth Elements Are Doubled Down On & Sillier Than Before, While Also Delivering A One Note, Forgettable Villain. I Think The Visuals & Art Direction Improve In This Film & The Sci-Fi/Mythology Are Embraced More, But Story, Relationships & Characters Fall Flat & Leave Little Want Of More...Until Taika Changed It Up In Ragnarok! Lol

This is a fun date movie probably not the best Thor movie but a good movie to watch with you're special someone with the love story in this movie and the action of any Marvel film you both can enjoy it.

I'm a big fan of the Marvel movies and Thor so of course I'm going to like it. I will say the first Thor was better but the second one is still a good movie and worth the purchase. The whole marvel collection (besides Hulk) is in my opinion.

The story is excellent. It seems like all of the Marvel Comic movies have gotten better since the Avengers Movie came out and was so successful. The 3D could have been better, but that's the case with almost all 3D movies.

Surprisingly good script and outstanding cast make this a better than average super hero flick despite the somewhat obscure main character. No, it's no "Dark Knight," but it is a very entertaining, action-packed diversion and a worthy successor to "Marvel's The Avengers."

If you are a fan of Marvel then this is for you. Thor is the greatest super hero and this movie rocks. The special effects are well work watching and the cinematography is the greastest. You will be immersed in the story.

I'm not buying the relationship between Thor & Dr. Foster; the actors don't have that "chemistry." And Chris O'Dowd's talents completely wasted here. On the other hand, it is a comic book movie, and as such is fun. Tom Hiddleston especially seems to be having fun.

I bought this and realized it didn't have a dvd. It even had a blank space in the steelbook but NO DVD. Why the studios cheap out I will never understand. The move was great and I love the steelbook. Overall a great buy!

Overall this is a great movie in the marvels series, It is filled with action and excitement. The only drawback I feel with the movie is it focuses a little to much on Thors love interest and not enough on the story line.

If you enjoyed Thor you are going to love it. The look is darker and looks great on screen.I love the humor in the movie. No spoilers here but watch completely thru the credits there are two more bits. One part way through then at the very end. You won't be disappointed.

I like this one just as much as the first. I really liked Loki's roll in the movie. I was a little confused by what actually happened in the end with Loki in Asgard but hoping it will be explained more in the next movie.

Loved the movie when I saw it in theaters and the blu-ray did not disappoint. Lots of great extras to watch-that you want to watch not just thrown in the make it longer. Sound quality great on my home theater system too.

While not an Oscar-winner, a great movie that builds the Thor mythology and shows the broader Marvel Universe. The acting is great with the exception of Natalie Portman who seems under-utilized. The disc is chock-full of extras and is a great addition to a home library.

I really enjoyed this 2nd installment of Thor! I was hesitant because the first movie was just ok but "Dark World" is much better. Great action as always and the acting is good enough to keep you interested In the story.

I liked this movie it is better than the first Thor movie. They really could have passed on the naked professor scenes though. I like the fact that not only does it build on the first Thor movie but the Avengers as well.

Marvel seems to have figured how to make great movies. If you're a fan of Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, The Avengers and / or the first Thor movie, then you probably know this one is just as good as any in the series.

Disney continues to add to the Marvel movie line with this epic. Continuing on where the Avengers left off, Thor The Dark World takes the asgardian to the next level. A third sequel is more then guaranteed upon the conclusion of this movie. Definitely a must see movie!

I purchased this BlueRay for my boy's dad's birthday. As far as I know, the movie inside the package is the same as the one on the cover. Good job to the packaging folks. I look forward to purchasing more BlueRays!
