A good story with good actors, I am a Woddie fan, liked it very much

I enjoyed watching this but felt just a little lost by it's ending.

A surprising really good movie. Great acting and a superb script

As I watched this movie, I was floored how it the characters where talking to each other and how they tried to solve their problems. Its sad that stuff like this happens in real life and crimes are not highlighted to the public to resolve them. Nonetheless, I feel like this movie is amazing and Woody Harrleson's character was a major highlight and so many great performances. Now this movie in 4K looks beautiful such as the scenery and the detail in the characters faces. I highly recommend to buy this movie in 4K because it has awesome detail and the HDR pops right off your screen.

this movie way way better than expected worth a watch or two

There are SO many great characters in this film I cannot decide who's the best. The acting from Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson, and Sam Rockwell are ALL so outstanding, but even the minor roles held by actors that will look familiar to you are incredible. Great story, it's funny, sad, dramatic, and at times will have you on the edge of your seat. Don't hesitate to own this film. I love it. No matter how many times I've seen it, it never gets old.

The best thing about this movie is the characters.

This film is a character study on the dysfunctional aspects of today's America, where we no longer view fault and causality. McDormand and Rockwell represent two sides of a currency everyone can relate to, especially when it's your time to,either spend or save. The film is paced well, and the story of closure, while exposing at any cost, gives you a creepiness that you shun, but at the same time can't take your eyes away from what happens next. Enjoyed.

The best movie I have seen in a long time. The performances were great. It did not have that contrived cheesy ending that out mainly Aristotelian society craves and loves. The acting and the characters were great. Others I recommended it to thought there was something wrong with me after they saw it. But, they found nothing funny about it whereas I did. Then again, I was reminded that I laughed at Heathers and told them to watch that also.

I was hooked from the start! Sam Rockwell and Frances McDormand rightly won Oscars for their performances, and Woody Harrelson should have with his poignant portrayal of the sheriff. I couldn't stop watching. All 3 characters are in pain, but the ways they deal with it, and the different pain they are in, keeps you wondering what is going to happen next. Highly recommended!

Surprisingly humorous for the subject matter, also poignant and dark in places. Great characters and Sam Rockwell is amazing, as is Frances McDormand, whose character’s ability to stand up for herself against others’ attempts to make her apologize for or let go of her grief and anger made me cheer out loud! The ending is a little abrupt but still satisfying.
