Honestly working perfect for space ship/airplane simulators. Quite amazing to be able to twist, turn in two emphasies on the x axis, and use the y axis at the same time. Could use another Y axis control as follows: Only thing I would change for the next production cycle is adding left hand middle/ring finger development support by making another analog stick to simulate swipes on the touchpad or whatnot. And possibly a right hand grip button where the awkwardly integrated face plate is, for the specialist controllers that have back button support. Aaaaand it really needs VR driver collaboration. I'll admit I have barely played any games in the Ace Combat franchise but I knew going into Ace Combat 7 I wanted the best controls possible. This flight stick let's you adjust resistance and keep your components together or separate for easier use. Definitely a purchase for any video game enthusiast who plans on getting into flight simulators.

If you want to experience a simulator without breaking the bank, then this is a great choice. The controls were easy to use and understand, and made my gameplay a lot more engaging.

I purchased these a few months back and am very surprised how well it has performed. Bought them while on sale and I am very pleased. The T.Flight Hoyas 4 is intended for both PC and PS4. I’ve only used them for PC and it has worked very well. It was virtually PlugNPlay when I was playing Ace Combat 7, and made the experience more enjoyable.

For PC; use it with most of the Steam flight games without too much trouble - I haven't done much button programming and I really don't need to. So far, so good. Must go to website and download drivers if you expect it to work, however

This thing rock's!! I have another for my xbox and loved it so i got another for the playstation. If you play any kind of flight game it's way worth it. I have had no problems with this one or the other (had that one couple of years).

This piece is so good that it’s a good thing to bit the 100 dollars are worth for this if you want to learn how to fly this is will show you and this is the best for beginners

If you play Rogue Squadron on the PS4, especially in VR, then this is a must buy (if you can find it in stock). Good quality feeling for a console controller, and makes flying around much more immersive. Overall, awesome if you play games that take full advantage of it!

Everything works well, sets up easily, and feels well constructed. I am not an expert on flightsticks but as a casual user I can report that it feels really satisfying to use.

It's incredibly fun to fly around with this controller in Ace Combat. While I do think it could be a bit heavier to sit better it's still the definitive way to fly.

I bought this to use with the PS5, so far there has been no issue. I was nervous about the control stick drifting but problems yet. Purchased through best buy for the replacement warranty just in case. Really makes star wars squadrons and ace combat more immersive.

Was in need of a flight controller for the new Ace Combat 7 as well as flight sims on my PC. This item filled both roles flawlessly. Because it is a USB type plug and a Thrustmaster product they also made drivers available on their website that allow it to function on PC. Awesome control and precision.

It is an awesome product, however it only works with two games that I own Ace Combat and Elite. It would be nice if it worked with some of my other flight style games. For the games it does work with it totally changes the immersion of the game.

A hard to find item during the pandemic and the launch of MSFS 2020, but at MSRP is a good value. After moderate use in MSFS, DCS World, and Squadrons the unit developed drift on the stick that could not be rectified by increasing the software dead zone. I called Thrustmaster and they initiated a replacement unit to be shipped. Due to the supply chain issues across the globe it took two months for the replacement to arrive. The main issue with this unit is that it isn't designed for anything other than casual use. I ended up buying a VKB Gunfighter with MCG.

I have tried a few different sticks and I really like this one. It was easy to get to work on my PC, it is customizable with plenty of features and has a good feel.

This thing is great I couldn’t even complete one mission using the control room in the first time I used it I was able to complete the mission and get almost through the second one immediately so thumbs up

This is an almost one year later review. I bought the joystick originally for Flight Sim on release. I couldn't be any happier with my purchase. Yes, there are better and more expensive sticks/yokes out there, but as I'm not an avid flight sim guy (I spend all my cash in sim-racing) this level of immersion is more than enough for me to be super happy. Very easy to set up, configure, and have fun with. I need to dust off some ace combat games and really get to work with this set. Does it feel a little cheap, and some buttons are a little hard to click, yes. Does that matter when you are flying over Washington DC enjoying the White House and the National Mall? ABSOLUTELY NOT! For this price range (I believe I purchased at 69.99?) there isnt anything better to fly around in. Thank you THRUSTMASTER!

This is a great joystick for playing Ace Combat on PS4. Makes gameplay a bit more realistic and fun. The fact that the throttle and stick can be separated is a plus, as you can position them where you want them (within reason, of course).
