I ordered one of these T-Flight Hotas One units in Open Box - Excellent condition from Best Bey for just under $40. I've been eyeing one of these starter-level HOTAS units for a while, and I specifically wanted the T-Flight HOTAS One so that I could use it with my Xbox Series X and PC. I could never really justify the $100 price tag for a brand new unit so I had been scanning FB marketplace for several months, and then I realized that Best Buy sells open box units for less than half of the retail price, which is cheaper than any I had seen used on FB marketplace, so I took a shot figuring even if the condition was poorer than advertised, it would still be functional. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived, although honestly it was kind of dirty, and has one noticeable scuff mark on the base. The allen key needed to attach the stick and throttle units together was still in its slot on the bottom of the HOTAS, and overall it really did look like a brand new unit (minus the scuff). I'm happy to report that it also plays like a brand new unit. I've been using mine for close to a month now and haven't noticed any of the major issues that are typically described with the T-Flight HOTAS One. It has made Elite: Dangerous and Microsoft Flight Simulator a lot more enjoyable for me, maybe one day I'll consider getting a more expensive HOTAS with more accurate tracking, but in my experience this unit is plenty sensitive and accurate and for $40 I literally could not have asked for a better price. Played battlefield and set up really easy with just a simple plug in and setting up controls straight outta box on pc i would highly recommend if you’re just looking for something casual, plus it doesn’t take up much room

Great joystick for the price. I was concerned about when I'd receive it since I saw this joystick was 'out of stock' nearly everywhere. I came to find it's because the new Microsoft Flight Sim recently released and these were the best 'budget' sticks available. I wish there were more keys available to map to; I purchased this for Star Wars Squadrons and would prefer to customize the controls further than what's available. However, I was able to plug-n-play with this one right out of the box and there are certainly enough buttons to get the job done (the game WAS made to be playable with a regular xBox controller...) This joystick will likely result in the purchase of more flight sims for the xBox and PC... Of note: I saw this joystick listed for twice the price on Amazon (from 3rd party sellers) that seemed to capitalize on the scarcity... I ordered from Best Buy with a standard shipping option and though they quoted 28 Dec for arrival, it was delivered Christmas Eve! Don't overpay!

My only gripe is i wish the cord was a little longer? Otherwise im very happy with my purchase and it works and feels great!

Works right out the box with either xbox or pc. Wish it was naturally work for both right hand and for left hand configurations without having to invert orientation.

Purchased this primarily for MS Flight Sim. It’s made flying and landing 1000x better than using the keyboard. The model was recognized in the game settings so setup was a breeze. Plenty of buttons to configure too. It’s plastic not cheap feeling and the price is right.

I bought this as an open box item. I see zero defects with it and it works flawlessly. Vey nice, just wish the cable between the throttle and stick was longer. If you have a smaller keyboard it will sit between the throttle and stick fine. But a full size keyboard is a little tight. Overall though, great hotas for a resonable price.

It is very good when it arrived it was original packaging and ai have been playing a lot of games such as War thunder,Microsoft flight sim, Ace combat and Star Wars squads. It has been amazing and it was such a good price For it only being 40 dollars and being this good is amazing

Solid product would not recommend for star citizen but works well with flight sims.

I am new to flight sticks so take that with a grain o salt. However, for my first flight stick, this is a great toy to have! The weight and handling feel really good and the price is actually great for what you get! Ive mainly been playing Star Wars Squadrons on Xbox Game Pass, and if you are looking to have a genuine Star Wars dog fight experience i dont think you could possibly do better than this stick at the price point. Must buy for flying fans on a budget! You wont regret it!

For the value, this is a must have, for anyone who wants to play any game that involves flying, this alone for the price is worth every penny!

Works flawlessly on both the XBOX and PC, easy switching between the 2 systems as well with a flipper switch on the back of the unit to go between PC and XBOX. Works really well with both MSFS 2020 & 2024, cant beat it for the money!

I bought this specifically to use with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Getting it set up in the settings in the game was a little difficult and took some google searching to get it all dialed in (which I don't fault the controller for, as that is more of a software issue). Once set up, it's easy to continue using and makes the experience much more immersive. My 6 year old has fallen in love with the game and so enjoys playing with this controller.

I and many other people I know use the thrust master and it is really good and if you have a small desk like me I would get something like the thrustmaster

I purchased the Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas One Joystick so that I could play Microsoft Flight Simulator on the Xbox. It is an OK flight stick and has some issues with the throttle not wanting to stay in position if you are not at 50% power for it. I want to eventually get the foot pedals with it because the twist for the rudder is very finicky when trying to turn. In future versions of the flight stick I would recommend either a Bluetooth connection or a longer cord because you cannot use it unless you are very close to the Xbox.

Had the version for the Playstation, wore it out. Since I'm PC gaming, it doesn't matter that it's the XBox version for my needs.

I use this for War Thunder simulator mode. So far, it's been amazing. It has lots of buttons for key bindings. However, this won't be enough if you're heavy into simulation such as DCS. This does not have force feedback, meaning you must rely on visual effects (blackout or greyscale) or audio cues as for what is happening to your aircraft. For the price, you cannot complain as it works amazingly. Good for checking out simulator to see if it's something you want to dive deeper before dropping hundreds of dollars.
