Meeeeh kind of trash
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Flight stick and buttons are ok. The throttle is absolutely garbage. There is no tension at all it falls all the way forward or all the way backwards with a little stop in the middle. I would wait for something better or go PC because these are ok at best.

Learning curve!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used joy sticks before, but they were nowhere as sophisticated as they are now. In other words, I am about 20 years behind on flight simulators! Today is my first try using them and at the moment I am frustrated! I like the feel of it and like having a throttle rather than having to use the keyboard, but I need to have the patience to learn how to set everything up. Once that is done, I believe I will like it! I hope!

Good for beginners
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.4 stars. Great for a quick setup, but ultimately lacking in the amount of buttons to assign configurations for different tasks. Will be very fun to use for beginners and very easy to learn on. Its sturdy enough to take a bit of a beating, but definitely not designed for a pro. The price is fair, if a bit on the expensive side.

Great Entry Level HOTAS Stick and Throttle value!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this primarily for MS Flight Sim 2020 and Star Wars Squadrons in VR. It's a great entry-level HOTAS stick. The stick and spring work well and has a great feel to them. They sit firmly on the desk and does not move around. It's easy to configure and get up and running on the PC. One drawback is the loose feel on the throttle. I wish there was a way to stiffen up its glide up and down the channel. The looseness makes using the back buttons difficult because pressing them can affect the throttle position. The other drawback is the relatively short cable connecting the throttle and stick. If you want to operate in a split configuration, you can barely fit a full-size keyboard between the 2.

No issues here!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can I say, this is a really good product. I've ready many reviews says that the quality was not great. I disagree. All axis's move smooth, the buttons are well places and feel correct.

Decent for the price point
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've got a very complex racing wheel and pedal set for my Oculus system, but when I picked up Star Wars Squadrons for my Xbox, I wouldn't even play it since controlling with the Xbox controller was awful. And of course thanks to Microsoft's Flight Sim, HOTAS units were impossible to find forever. I was randomly checking a few places every week or so and was fortunate enough to catch one in stock here at Best Buy, so I snagged it right away. The length of the cord isn't that great, but fortunately I had a USB extension cable from my first Oculus headset, allowing me to get a decent distance from my TV. Fired up the game, and this made ALL the difference. It went from annoying to enjoyable instantly. Not sure how many people would play with the thrust and flight control sticks connected, but that would work. However there's enough cord to separate them and get them comfortably distanced from each other. For me, the bonus is that this is natively recognized by the game so I can SEE what buttons will do what, I didn't have to remap controls or anything. I wish there was a bit more resistance on the throttle stick, but for this price, I'm pleased that it's responsive and works. Buttons are for the most part placed well, just some muscle memory now to train as I start to use it. All in all, for this price, it's light years beyond using the controllers that come with a game system. Definitely NOT worth the scalp prices you find them online, but if you wait like I did and snag it at retail price it's worth it.

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought ace combat 7 to do some top gun missions and wasnt quite sure about the game on the first day. Bought this the next day and completely changed the game. Next level immersion and the game was made to work with this joystick so simple setup.

Great Price, Does the Job
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great joystick for the price. I was concerned about when I'd receive it since I saw this joystick was 'out of stock' nearly everywhere. I came to find it's because the new Microsoft Flight Sim recently released and these were the best 'budget' sticks available. I wish there were more keys available to map to; I purchased this for Star Wars Squadrons and would prefer to customize the controls further than what's available. However, I was able to plug-n-play with this one right out of the box and there are certainly enough buttons to get the job done (the game WAS made to be playable with a regular xBox controller...) This joystick will likely result in the purchase of more flight sims for the xBox and PC... Of note: I saw this joystick listed for twice the price on Amazon (from 3rd party sellers) that seemed to capitalize on the scarcity... I ordered from Best Buy with a standard shipping option and though they quoted 28 Dec for arrival, it was delivered Christmas Eve! Don't overpay!

Great entry setup
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have an itch to really get the most of any flight or space sim you own, but not sure if you want to get to deep into the sim weeds. this is a firm starter set. Personally, I should've bought the PlayStation ver.(have a PS5 & Xbox Series X but I game on PC & PS5 mostly), but the either Xbox or PS will work on PC. It's pretty easy to setup, but keep in mind that the stick & throttle are wired, so if you have a particular setup in mind, you will be limited in your spacing. Thrustmaster products in general feel pretty good in use. But this unit can feel a bit loose in the throttle. You can run into a similar issue with the stick, but there's a tension screw to tweak to get the desired feel. Because the unit is wired, that also means you are locked into a set hand placement. Not ideal if you're left handed. This is a solid unit to cut your teeth on. At roughly $100, you pay for what you get. I haven't run into any major issues, but now I'm very aware of of the limitations within certain games and better setups for. Pros: - Cheap - Easy to use - Works on (respective) consoles & PC - Mounting holes for rigs and personal setups. Cons: - Throttle and flight-stick wired together - Limited spacing options - Throttle has a loose feel in use, that can feel sensitive at times. (like a sort of dead zone where you the space between resistance and action feels off) - Had to search the internet for hardware information regarding mounting specs. - Getting rid of the unit if you decided to upgrade. I would recommended this unit if you're just curious. But if you are more than interested in getting into the flight sim space, I'd recommend shopping around for a higher grade of HOTAS or other system that provides the best fit for you.

Open Box - Excellent unit is actually excellent!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered one of these T-Flight Hotas One units in Open Box - Excellent condition from Best Bey for just under $40. I've been eyeing one of these starter-level HOTAS units for a while, and I specifically wanted the T-Flight HOTAS One so that I could use it with my Xbox Series X and PC. I could never really justify the $100 price tag for a brand new unit so I had been scanning FB marketplace for several months, and then I realized that Best Buy sells open box units for less than half of the retail price, which is cheaper than any I had seen used on FB marketplace, so I took a shot figuring even if the condition was poorer than advertised, it would still be functional. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived, although honestly it was kind of dirty, and has one noticeable scuff mark on the base. The allen key needed to attach the stick and throttle units together was still in its slot on the bottom of the HOTAS, and overall it really did look like a brand new unit (minus the scuff). I'm happy to report that it also plays like a brand new unit. I've been using mine for close to a month now and haven't noticed any of the major issues that are typically described with the T-Flight HOTAS One. It has made Elite: Dangerous and Microsoft Flight Simulator a lot more enjoyable for me, maybe one day I'll consider getting a more expensive HOTAS with more accurate tracking, but in my experience this unit is plenty sensitive and accurate and for $40 I literally could not have asked for a better price. Thanks, Best Buy!

Works perfectly fine with Flight Sim
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this primarily for MS Flight Sim. It’s made flying and landing 1000x better than using the keyboard. The model was recognized in the game settings so setup was a breeze. Plenty of buttons to configure too. It’s plastic not cheap feeling and the price is right.

Good entry level flight stick
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not an expert. I thought about buying a more expensive flight stick, but I figured this would be a better introduction. This flight stick is more than enough to get started and then some. I am still no where near able to fly proficiently. I am glad I did not spend hundreds more on higher end gear. Yes, it's plastic, but that's expected for the price. It is 100% better than not having a flight stick.

Thrust master HOTAS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a beginner HOTAS setup this is perfect. Especially if you bounce between MS Flight Sim on console and something like DCS on PC. The ability to still have rudder control by twisting the grip is a nice added touch especially for rotary wing platform use! Definitely worth the money and will satisfy your needs as an entry-level/hobbiest gamer!
