On the outset the joystick 'system' is good value for money. However, in practice, the throttle is so loose that it simply falls forward due to gravity if you have the throttle setting more than 65%. The joystick has a resistance setting on the base, but the maximum setting is wholly inadequate. Imagine you're playing DCS World, and you're trying to perform air-to-air refueling. All is going well until you realize you're running about 5 knots too slow to hold station with the tanker, so you nudge the throttle forward. Suddenly, it flops forward under its own weight and the afterburners ignite instantly. The next thing you know you've collided with the tanker and its mission-over. The joystick is also far too slack, even on maximum resistance settings to be useful as a precision joystick. If you're looking for something cheap to appease the children for a couple of weeks, purchase this. If you're looking for a companion to accompany you through your voyage into flight sims - look elsewhere.

If you've never used a controller like this ... you may have the same trouble I did with setting it up. I'm sure it's an amazing device and a great value to someone who knows how to use it... for me, it was just a bit too complicated.

This has been a great addition to my gaming set up. I use it for Elite Dangerous and Star Wars Squadrons and it's made them much easier to play

I had to change the trim button settings so the trim button acts as a trim button. Interesting as most of these products are not designed in some areas like a real flight stick. A real combat pilot needs to design this to specifications for most aircraft controls. Trim buttons are important thing to most aitcraft unless you have automatic trim in the aircraft. Still trying to find aileron trim. LOL Rudder function by twisting the stick was an oustanding add as you can do without rudder pedals, however brakes are another issue.

Needed a new controller after being gifted with some reworked older Star Wars simulators. This controller has taken those games to a new level. Very easy to calibrate and set the buttons to the options of your choice. Would easily choose this same controller again

Really like not having to use the keyboard to fly. So much more realistic.

Great joy stick for flight simulator on xbox. Very responsive for a true flight experience.

Works well with the new MS Flight Simulator, once you figure out what the extra buttons do. The connection between the two halves could have been more secure.

Works great. Makes flight games way better. The stick could be smoother and I wish the cord between the two sections was about 6 inches longer.

Got it for squadrons and it didnt disappoint. If you have a quest give squadrons a try if you dont get motion sick easily.

Nice set for my Microsoft flight simulator. Works perfect in tandem with my pedals.

As a professional pilot I was impressed with the solid feel, and the ability to twist the joystick for rudder control means you don't really need to buy the pedals. Make sure you follow the instructions and install the drivers before connecting the hardware.
