I purchased this as an alternative to a regular laptop case for my HP Spectre 360 (Windows PC). Worked great. It fit my 2-1 perfectly with enough space for my external DVD drive and power adapters with room to spare. So as you can see it's not just for MacBooks.

I’m really protective of my Apple gear because I love the quality of Apples mechanical design and materials. I bought this case because of how rugged the protection was, fully willing to compromise on carrying capacity. I was surprised to learn how much stuff it would hold! Sure, it can be a bit cramped if you overstuff it. But it holds my MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, power adapters, glasses, backup battery, dongles, and other misc stuff in a case that will stand up vertically under the coach seat in front of me. Awesome!

I use this for my 12in9 pro ipad and it fits fine, and love it. However, don’t plan on packing it like a brief case or back pack lol, but the contour does allow larger items to fit nicely in the bottom compartments like chargers, plugs, adapters and other loose items. The shell or casing is very strong and yet very lightweight, so I love it.
