If your looking for protection but without the bulk then this is a product I recommend, it’s hard to impress me but this case is the real deal. They come in different colors but in my opinion the black case was a no brainer.

I also often keep the case on while using the computer depending on how much space I need, it has a strap that holds the back of the case up against the back side of the computer, but of course then no one can see the apple ;)...
