This Thule sleeve, will keep your MacBook Pro protected and will not interfere with the operation of your laptop meaning, all the connections on the side of your MACBOOK PRO are very easy to get to and connect any wires or cables you need. I keep my MacBook in this sleeve all the time because I know it will do what it was made to do.
