    Received this as a gift. It's a great protective cover for transporting my mac book pro, but not so great when I'm sitting down to use it. There is no way to secure my Mac inside the cover, so as soon as the cover is open, my Mac is no longer protected. It is difficult (and annoying) when trying to close the two. The little elastic bands that support the top of the case always seem to be in the way.

    I am less careful than I should be with my Macbook Pro (15"), so this case fits my lifestyle perfectly. There's some edge protection, an inner strap to hold the laptop in place during transit, and water-resistant zippers. The clamshell design is convenient for use while still in the case; it just doesn't accommodate plugs/cords very well.
