Great extra protection for taking laptop to school

My freshman has a backpack with a built-in padded sleeve for laptops, but the Thule Gauntlet sleeve adds an extra level of protection while still being able to fit in the backpack sleeve. It also provides protection when the laptop is out of the backpack, but not currently in use. The thing I like most about the Gauntlet's design is that it provides better protection in the event of a drop than many of the cheaper sleeves that really only provide scratch protection.

Nice little sleeve.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it for my new MacBook Pro 13 inch, it seats pretty well, would have liked it to be a bit more snug. the elastic straps in the middle to keep it from opening completely are a bit of an annoyance when trying to zipper it up but otherwise its a nice protector.

Once it is opened there isn’t anything to protect your device from falling out. It’s you aren’t the clumsy type you shouldn’t have a problem. It come in a few different colors. I don’t recommend it for children
