I have no doubt that if it took a tumble from a few feet up with my MacBook inside, it would protect it. However, it would have been great to have a secure padding "nest" inside -- would have been even more secure.

Can’t ever go wrong with these folks. My briefcase is light on the padding and this is perfect for protecting the XPS!

Good, Sturdy Case

Sturdy Case

The only thing that would make it great is a place for the cord and a long strap to put over your shoulder. It does offer great protection.
