So glad I only got a trial instead of buying full year. Tidal seems to force you music choices Tidal is promoting not does not learn your music taste make finding your music preferences and albums easy, as your choices never always stayed buried below and behind whatever music Tidal is promoting without regard to your music preferences or even last music listened to. VERY POOR USER INTERFACE. I Find Pandora to be far superior in almost every way except not having CD quality or better sound quality. SOUND QUALITY - I have found a major problem here that is not caused by my high end 7.1.2 sound system. With TIDAL and TIDAL SOURCES ONLY HAS SIGNIFICANT LISTENING FATIGUE when played via HDMI from my Roku Ultra (2020 model), my laptop, etc were talking making you not want to listen to music for days because your ears hurt type listening fatigue (I now know what reviews refer to sarcastically as making your ears bleed). But when I play from other music sources including my own CD collection on same stereo there is no listening fatigue. Oddly if I stream via AirPlay to my stereo system the listen fatigue is not as severe, but still there. Again I have no listing fatigue from other CD quality or better listening sources on same audio equipment. While I wish I could here the full potential and high quality sound when I’m streaming music I in the end will keep my my Pandora Premium subscription over keeping TIDAL, better user interface on the app and no listening fatigue. I had high expectations for TIDAL, but in the end too many problems with ease of use and problematic listening fatigue that shouldn’t be there.
