Signed up about three weeks ago after purchasing a new integrated amp with very nice DACs. Tital can be somewhat overwhelming at first because of millions of selections. I felt like a kid in a candy store and wanted to hear both old and new tracks and CD's. Still experimenting but I am happy with so many to select from. However, comparing streaming tracks to tracks played through my player so far indicates "HiFi" versions of CD's streamed are not as good as listening to CD's played trough my transport. There are a number of variables which can influence quality both from streaming and from a local player so everyone should experiment and determine which they prefer. Bottom line I plan to keep using Tidal because of the tremendous number of CD's available and their "Master" versions come closer to the real thing. I recommend anyone who can still sign up for Best Buy's Tidal subscription give it a try. For the price you get to try out millions of CD's.

Tidal hi def streaming services is bomb. The music catalog is extensive. Any song or album it’s on this app. Best Buy’s amazing deal for 3 months is an added bonus

I already had a Tidal month to month subscription - the only type they offered - but this makes it half the price for the exact same plan. Great value!

I use tidal and I like because it’s very easy to use And have all music That I like, and when you Listen and compare with other platforms Tidal sound great .

Still the best streaming of hi-fi music. Exclusive mode (when used with a good DAC and Amp) are really making a difference and I do feel like the offerings cover all my music taste.

There's no doubt the master quality audio is great and there's a decent selection. Let's face it though, it's no Spotify as far as the community aspect goes. Everyone sharing playlists is on Spotify. I'm a yoga instructor and all the teachers use Spotify to make playlists, makes me feel out of the loop as far as getting playlists for my own classes. Tidal is really the go to if you're just looking for a really nice audio experience with some fancy headphones. Works well with my Sony xm3's over Bluetooth. Obviously, I'm no audiophile, but I do enjoy the high quality audio for personal listening.

The best streaming service, hands down. Both user and artist forward, hordes of features and options, and excellent audio quality across the board.

Sound quality is absolutely top notch, but the cost is pricey compared to others. Finding music is on average with most other services and far better than others.

Personally, I loved TIDAL HiFi for the sound quality from my iPhone without a DAC (so limited to 48Khz@24-Bit) and didn’t have the ability to hear the difference in the TIDAL Masters (of which there were FAR more than so had imagined) since I didn’t have an MQA decoder either. What I heard was incredible. I can only imagine how much better it COULD be. Time to start saving up for a good portable headphone DAC/AMP that has the circuitry to do the MQA unfold and render real-time in hardware and handle native DSD decoding in hardware as well (none of this conversion to PCM audio, which may be much cheaper to implement, but totally defeats the purpose of DSD and really downplays its sonic advantages over PCM audio)). No, TIDAL HiFi does not deliver any content in DSD format (a shame, really), but it gives you an idea of the fact hat it sounds fantastic as is, but that it can deliver so much more — but how much more depends on how much you are willing to pay for hardware to take advantage of it. One thing is for sure — don’t even bother shipping around, Best Buy has HANDS DOWN the best deal on TIDAL subscriptions, period. Like half the price of anyone else. Don’t sit on the fence, at these prices you can’t go wrong!
