    Costly subscription renewal

Amazing sound quality. Enjoyed it while I had it. However, when it time came to renew the price was more expensive eventhough it was supposed to auto renew for less. Felt like a "bait and switch" type of thing. Because of the more expensive cost to renew I sadly had to cancel my subscription.

It's a pretty good app but I kind of like it is it worth $15 a month I don't think so. If you don't mind spending that much money you'll love it. but that's one of the reasons I quit doing Sirius Radio they want too much money to listen to music. It does work with Android auto just an FYI. I would definitely recommend it if you can get it on sale price.

Very good! Very good setup and user friendly. Good with multiple account and devices too! Digging the offline service and app layout. Will continue to use in the future and forward to friends about the app. Needs better searching tool box but that is about it. I really need to re Subscribe as well haha! The optimization is very good as well!

I have used Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify, Pandora , Apple Music, You Tube, etc. For me Tidal checks the most boxes. Is it perfect? No. MQA when it is really MQA is great. I have HIFI Plus and actually thought about just getting HIFI, but my equipment can scale up so high I opted for Plus. The BEST BUY DEAL makes it a very good proposition. I run Tidal thru it's own app and I also use it thru Roon with the Nucleus Plus streamer.

I did a side by side comparison of tracks on Tidal vs Spotify. I was expecting there to be little to no difference in sound quality but honestly, Tidal’s sound was far superior on 9/10 songs. You just have to make sure you are selecting the Master tracks. The sounds is fuller and you will hear pieces you’ve never noticed in your favorite songs. It’s a little pricier than Spotify but if sound is your thing, then the price difference is worth it. I will most likely switch to Tidal after my promotional deal is over.

I have had a love-hate relationship with Tidal since its introduction many moons ago. But since the ownership has changed hands, Tidal is now kicking it up. The number of Master recordings is staggering, plus the music videos, Dolby Atmos, Sony 360, Tidal has now become a music nut heaven. But what is really kicking my tushie is the streaming quality from my Andriod phone. This is an ear opener!

I'm not new to music streaming, but TIDAL has blown me away with the breadth of content, music Bit Rate quality, and ease of use. I come from Pandora, and TIDAL HiFi is just a huge leap forward in quality. MASTER level quality, from the original studio recordings is available with this service. 3 Month Trial came with my Onkyo Receive I also picked up from Best Buy.

Tidal has some weird interface quirks and if you want to download the high-fidelity songs the files sizes are LARGE. That said, these days Best Buy seems to be selling Tidal subscriptions at a deep discount very frequently and if you can pick up a membership then you really can't complain for the price you pay.

Sound quality is great with high quality headphones or when playing though a streamer to nice speakers. If you primarily use low bandwidth Bluetooth connection or factory car stereo then don't bother. 4 starts for poor suggestions and music discovery engine, but I listen to full albums most times anyway.

I got a 3 month trial subscription to this service for 99 cents which was money well spent. The audio quality from this service is supposed to be better than that of other services;while it does sound great,I'm not sure that I can notice any difference; The UI is exactly the same as deezer, which is fine;if you're looking for a subscription music service this is a solid option, however if I'm not mistaken, the subscription to this service is a little more expensive than others.

I’ve been a longtime Tidal subscriber and Hi-Fi enthusiast. If you enjoy the greatest quality in your music and hunt down FLAC files instead of MP3, you need Tidal. I have yet to find anything even close to the catalog size and Master quality streaming that they offer. The acquisition news with Sprint does suggest that good days are not in its future, so I’ll enjoy this moment while it lasts. Put on some good headphones and you’ll realize what you’ve been missing :)

    Best value for Tidal subscription

Among all the streaming services, Tidal currently has the best balance of catalog, sound quality, apps, device flexibility, and discovery/playlists. Plus, Roon integration. Others are better in some categories, but right now Tidal is best overall, all things considered. Subscribing through Best Buy is the only way I know of to get an annual subscription, and best of all it works out to about half price for the top tier.

I'm an amateur audiophile and love high quality music, especially when the cost for it is so low! I use Tidal daily and the quality and collection of music available is amazing! There're only a small few songs that aren't on Tidal but that's okay since the amount of songs that are on here largely overpower the amount that aren't. Also, the app's interface is my favorite out of all the other music apps I have tried.

Always used Spotify, sound quality was good enough for the equipment I had. Always assumed my car needed sound deadening as the bass from the sub sounded like it was distorted and rattling the door cards and dash so had to keep the level down. First time using Tidal Hifi today and there is no distortion, or hint of unwanted sounds, even with the sub cranked up. Definitely pair this app with a decent pair of headphones and High Res capable dac for the best results.

This is a pretty good value. I don't know if i personally hear much of an audio difference with the "Master" quality although I'm no audio expert. It just seems louder. It is a bit clearer but I don't know if it makes that much of a difference. Atmos feature is fun though.

This is a great deal compared to going directly to Tidal; it's half the price. Sure, you pay for a year up-front and sure, it auto-renews. But you can always cancel auto-renew and, even if Tidal folds, you can maybe get your money back from your credit card company, and you're ahead once you're 6 months into the year anyway. Tidal is very good indeed especially if you're into high-quality sound and/or want a lot of MQA content. It pairs very well with Roon.

The HiFi audio is good, but tbh comapred to Apple Music Lossless with Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio, its not that great. This was a free trial for the real deal so I’ll review it as the real subscription. Personally, I think its overpriced for what you get and the playlist selections/creations arent nearly as good as Spotify or even Apple Music which doesn’t really have that many great playlists in general. The audio quality is good, but its not better than Apple Music with Lossless etc. It is definitely betyer than Spotify and their garbage codec

As a Best Buy deal of the day, I thought I would try a year of Tidal premier to sample atmos, master recordings and hi fi and I was not disappointed. I recently purchased the new AirPod Max headphones....and the combination of Tidal and the headphones is an incredible experience. Navigating Tidal is easy, the songs are clearly marked master, hi fi, and search atmos and all the songs are there. iTunes needs to step up there game!

Trial membership for 3 months through Best Buy. Great for streaming Hi-Res music albums. Only thing I found lacking was the depth of new or curated playlist to help find new music. If you know what you want to listen to and have compatible Hi-Fi Headphones or Hi-Res Speakers then definitely recommend the trial.

I got this for free bundled with a Sony Receiver. The only reason I am not using it is because I have been using YouTube music for a while now. But i definitely thought about canceling my YouTube music service and move to this.
