    I bought it to be in contact with my 9 year old boy. If we were in the 450 ft range, he can walk out the school to the main door because I'll be there. It never works, not a single time, not if I press the button, not if he presses it. It only works if you already know were is the missing object, 10 ft apart, from one room to another. Not useful.
