This is a good tivo. all in one system. good buy. Get a tivo if you haven't already.

Purchased unit and installed required cable card and it works great combined with 3 Mini Tivo's saves me about 50 per month in lease charges. Expect unit to pay for itself in 18 months. Recommend buying lifetime service from Tivo. Does everything as advertised.I'm using LAN to connect all units including PC bonus is I'm able to watch Tivo content and live TV on IPad using wifi.

I had a TIVO issued by a cable company in the past and got tired of the subpar products from Comcast. I finally took the plunge and got the bolt and I love it. It works well with comcast but it did take 2 cablecards before it finally worked. I love having amazon video right on the bolt as well.

had a surge that melted my old TIvo so I had to purchase a new one. I like that this one has Wifi built in. Still does 4 shows at once. Menus are very quick and the remote is responsive. All in all I love Tivo over Comcast or any other Cable Co's junk box's. You also get a credit from Comcast for using a cable card so that helps offset the small TiVo monthly fee.

TiVo bolt keep getting stuck when I go from Netflix to tivo. You haft to reboot

Wanted a 4 channel DVR and Charter had none to offer so went with Tivo Bolt and am completely satisfied. Easy, intuitive user interface, and has lots of more advanced capabilities that take a short while to master. Has good built in wifi but we use with ethernet cable. Easy setup for channels from local cable provider. Highly recommend!

I bought because they were on sale and included a year of service, I think TiVo just took away the free year of service. But with the deal I got, it covered my fios converter fees for the year and after that saves me about $200 a year.....just wish it had more apps available like showtime....

This is the second bolt I've purchased. We needed more than 4 tuners so a second one gives us 8. The way they work together could be improved a bit but for the most part they work seamlessly together.

Let's make 1 thing clear...if you have an existing Tivo Roamio and you do not have a 4K TV the Tivo Bolt does not provide enough value for me to recommend making a change. For the people that either do not have Tivo at all or for those that are considering the upgrade from Tivo Premiere (or a previous Tivo), this is well worth the purchase. The interface is more responsive, the guide is more clearly understood (with station icons added), the streaming connects and resumes quickly (Netflix, Amazon, Vudu, etc.) The added "Skip" feature is limited but still great when it's available. The best use I've found for "Quick" mode is getting through a 3 hour sporting event - it does take getting used to since the voices talk fast. The new box design is a smaller so it doesn't take up as much space. Even the remote is slightly smaller to make it easier to handle - my only complaint about the remote is that they moved the Guide button which is now the zoom.

For years I've considered getting TiVo but the cost for equipment and service always stopped me. Recently I heard radio ads for the bolt and was intrigued. The quick commercial skip sounded great (and it is) so I looked more into what the bolt offered. Note the commercial skip only works for certain time and channels. Basically prime time on major nextworks (including cable stations). For $300 you own the equipment and get a free year of service after which its $150 a year for service which comes out to $12.50 a month. This is far cheaper than the $20 plus tax Xfinity charges. So if you can get by the upfront cost, you will eventually save money in the long run. Besides the cost savings you also get a fast and more user friendly interface. From the my TiVo you can access Netflix, YouTube, Amazon video, Hulu and even get Xfinity on demand. One pass allow for recording you favorite shows on any channel at any time, ensuring it get recorded. You can also get the service without an extra service fee with TiVo mini. I use it in my bedroom and it works flawlessly, just know a wired Ethernet connection is needed for the mini. I can't recommend this any higher. Do yourself a favor and make the switch, you won't be sorry.

Like the machine had a few issues with sound looping over and over again but is now working properly. Also had minor issue (happened only three times) where the picture would freeze but now that seems to have resolved.

Does everything that I wanted it to do. I'm not a "tekkie", and I had no problem learning to use all the buttons on the TiVo remote.

Awesome machine would be cool if it had a siri like voice control. The ability to download shows for on the go watching is great. Highly recommend this product it even came with a free year of service.

Now I need 2 cat 5 cables ran to my bedrooms it seems like it's always a week signal. Brighthouse has lots of issues for the cards that go into these tivos. Be careful!!

Receiving Over the Air broadcasts now, the Tivo Bolt was a great replacement DVR giving you user friendly TV guide and the capability to record up to 4 shows at once for future watching.

Better than the previous versions. Having four tuners with just antenna connection for broadcast tv I still have plenty of content to watch. The UI is intuitive and responds quickly.
