I am a big fan of TiVo and Bolt does not disappoint. Very fast, snappy and has the familiar menus and interface we all love. I am Ok with the shape of it. One thing that I wish it had is more tuners

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She had researched the different types of TiVo, and she felt this one was the best! She hooked it up very easily and has been using it since. She loves it. I don't know all the details, but she is so happy with it that I'm thinking about buying one for myself!

I was looking for something to replace the DVR from my satellite CATV provider so I could "cut the cord". The Tivo Bolt was the right choice. My wife and I record quite a few over the air channel programs so we needed something with a lot of potential for storage. We selected the Bolt and found a video on YouTube that shows you how to remove the internal drive and install a 3TB drive. I purchased an HDTV outdoor antennae, attached it to the chimney and just like that I was getting over 90 OTA channels. I like the Bolt features and guide, as well as how to record and playback your shows. Glad I bought it. Now I can say 'good-bye" to CATV and their ever rising rates.

It took me a minute to get this installed. I had to get the cable card before it would work with Cox Cable, so be prepared before you purchase. Love the box... Only complaint is that you can't watch when not at home and I couldn't connect the slingbox to it..... Major downfall, if you travel alot and have already invested in a slingbox.

This is an amazing box. Radio frequency remote and easy to navigate menus. The ability to stream Hulu, YouTube and Netflix is a great bonus. The setup is tricky, but worth the effort.

I love the skip feature, best idea ever for a dvr.

My series 2 TiVo would no longer work when my cable company went all digital, so I upgraded to the Bolt. It has everything I loved about my old TiVo plus a lot of new features that I am enjoying, including being able to access it through an app on my phone. I wish I had upgraded sooner!

It replaced the cable box flawlessly, the apps were the big plus. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, was it lacks an HBO app which is supposed to be out soon. I would also add when speaking to their customer service, it was helpful and pleasant.

I purchased this unit to replace my cable DVR. Setup was really easy and my cable provider gave me a cable card which was also easy to install. I would recommend this product to anybody looking for an all in one entertainment center. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have bebn using Tivo for several years I cannot Imagine my life without it. Currently I have two Tivos, and the new one gives me an opportunity to watch all my shows wireless from any room on any platform. Also like slick lookand small footprint.

After using a DirecTV Tivo box for 10+ years, all of the standard CableCo boxes paled in comparison. While the initial outlay is greater than getting everything from Comcast, it has kept the family happy since that is what we're used to,.

I upgraded from a Tivo series 4 and I absolutely love the Bolt. I like that it can record 4 shows at once and the skip feature, which allows you to skip through commercials completely. I also love that I can go on Netflix or Hulu without any delay. With my old Tivo, I would have to wait while getting on Netflix loaded..and then wait as it logged me in. The processor in Bolt is so fast, it simply a click of the button and I'm on.

Tivo just keeps getting better! The skip function is great. Seamless process to connect, add to my existing Tivo account, and start enjoying!

After buying a Roku and continuing my research on how to best "cut the cord", we decided to just get a Tivo, and opted for the Bolt. (We also cut back to a below basic cable TV service.) I love the ability to record the shows we like, or pause what we're watching to run to the kitchen, answer a call, etc. The Roku wasn't giving us everything we wanted, and some of our preferred shows just aren't on Hulu. The only thing I don't like about the TiVo is that it is one more subscription that we have to pay for.

Only thing i can say is you can never go wrong with TiVo. This would be my 6th TiVo. Each one is better than the last and never any buyers remorse. Best DVR out hands down.

I bought my other Tivo box 7 years ago and a lot has changed since then. What I love about this one is I don't have to have cable to use it. If I decide to ditch my cable bill, I can use this to record anything that I can pick up with my antenna.

I bought this to replace my Comcast cable box and dvr. I just had to get a cable card from Comcast. I was able to hook it up without difficulty. The dvr works much better. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
