I switched from direct tv to cox. The TiVo box was installed along side the Direct TV DVR Box, The TiVo box can't be installed with the cox contour box. It has to be installed with a CABLE CARD as a separate cable box for a specific TV. Cox has been to my house 3 times an it can.t install the TIVO. The reason is that the cox cable card does not fit the connection compartment under the box. There is a "Cable Card Insert Tray" required that COX doesn't have. They advised me they don't install TIVO BOX"s any more

Love my tivo. Easy to use and saved alot of money.

I didn’t know what to expect after being disappointed in some of the other cheaper DVR’s so for several months I looked for the best. I have not been disappointed in the TiVo Bolt, as it has more than exceeded my expectations.

Have used it for 3 weeks. Works Great, many upgrades over older Tivos. Only Con is it is a bit slower to respond over changing channels or changing to apps.

I paid good money for this Tivo, how dare they make me pay a subscription to use it. That is so low down.

Tivo started putting commercials into recorded programs. That’s a deal breaker, and a violation of trust. Tivo is supposed to be for skipping commercials.

I've owned Tivos since they first came out. Just recently moved from Directivo to the Bolt and receiving my TV OTA. The recordings are going well and are excellent quality. I've not played with any of the streaming functions they have added to the Bolt, so can't comment on that.

I would of given a 5 star if it was an out right purchase, but it requires a $6 a month subscription.

We decided to cut the cord, but wanted to be able to record shows over the air and have a menu to work with. We paid the annual fee for the menu for the year and have been very happy with this product and our experience. It has made giving up cable much easier.

No problem setting it up, I receive over 80 channels. Love the one pass option. Yes, you need to pay a tv guide subscription, but its worth it. I am going to buy the tivo mini to set up on my other tv. Its better than paying a big cable bill for reruns.

My husband loves all the features that will allow him to record his favorite shows. It will be used a lot

Worked great until the 15th day and then it developed a flicker on live and recorded shows. Troubleshooting with Tivo resulted in having to replace the unit.

I tried cheaper versions of off air recorders but they just didn't perform. The Tivo works well and I am divorced from Direct TV. I would prefer a cheaper Guide but it is necessary to use the features in scheduling recordings and no service is free!

We are very happy with this purchase. Easy to set up and use. Love the savings!

We get a lot of channels along with a lot of streaming networks to choose from. Really pleased money well spent!!

I was looking for a dvr to record over the air tv. This one had a good price and reasonable to try out.

Had to return after 2 years of use best buy provided me with store credit after 2 years... fantastic spent over 1000 buying new system which was professionally installed by the geek squad

TIVO is great. you do not have to run cable from your modem and your TV. This device uses wireless protocol. Very good Tech Support. Might be more costly than some, but you pay for what you get. Excellent!!

My Tivo hooked up is streaming every channel flawlessly! Great video on my 4K tv!
