The live TV has some compression artifacts not on the DVR box or on playback. I ended up running an antenna feed to the second TV for uncompressed Off air. Voice remote and DVR playback are very good. The EPG is very good.

Tivo is analogous to Apple in construction and quality. This unit is excellent to remotely watch programs recorded. But like Apple, Tivo products are way too expensive.

I replaced my Tivo mini that stopped working. This model has a remote with more features. My last Tivo mini lasted about two years. Go for the warranty, you may be glad that you did.

This is my second one, I love the fact I don't need pay additional monthly service fees. The downside for some will be it doesn't work with WiFi, must be CAT5 or MoCa (coax). Mine works great over CAT5.

This TiVo mini is pretty good, even for high-def videos. I use this primarily as my cable box and Netflix media device. It doesn't disappoint. The quality when using for Netflix is pretty good.

I had already set up a MOCA network to get my Romio to the internet. Wi-Fi is hit or miss in my house, but MOCA was reliable and fast. It was easy to add the VOX to the network. TIVOS just know how to talk to each other.

The Tivo mini is great for streaming video from a main TiVo with a hard disk. There is no outlet charge either from the cable compnay or from Tivo. I switched back to the standard TiVo menus as the new one suck.

I returned my cable company's DVD/HD player/recorder and replaced it with a TiVo. I added the mini in a second room. The mini does NOT have WiFi built in. Therefore as a workaround I used an Extender which works just fine. I must add that this was something I came up with and when I asked TiVo the response was yes I guess that should work. Fortunately I had an unused extender. My rating would have been 5 stars if the mini had wifi built in. I cannot believe in this day and age it does not. The device requires an ethernet connection. OLD SCHOOL. Like I said an extender was my workaround.

I have numerous TiVo’s including several minis. This is a large upgrade from the old minis. Upgraded two and have no regrets

I had the old mini and this one responds so much faster. It is pricey so I am super glad Best Buy had it on sale on Black Friday. Love not having to pay a subscription fee or get another cable card.

I was not impressed by how old the GUI felt and the additional TiVo subscription required.

TiVo is a great system, boxes are more reliable and respond faster than a rented cable box. The mini is a great add on device for a second, third or fourth tv.

The mini VOX works very good once it was set up. Needed to add a few item that I did know was needed or it would not work. I am very happy with it and all the functions it can do

The TIVO VOX made adding another TV to our antenna system very easy and we are enjoying the broadcast TV and streaming on both TVs now (especially the lack of the cable bill!).

I have not been able to install the Vox--the instructions are easy to understand but difficult to achieve. If I cannot install it within the next couple of days it will go back to Best Buy.

Been a TiVo lover for many many years. This does not let you watch your recordings on the main box, it only lets you connect to media outlets.

Using a Tivo with cablecard eliminates the need to pay for cable boxes. The mini has a lifetime free subscription and extends full capabilities including all recorded shows.

I have been a tivo customer for years and have always enjoyed their software. I'm just hoping they can survive or rethink with cord cutting.

Bough this to extend out Tivo bolt to another room. Love the rf remote, works great and we don’t have to pay for an extra cable box!
