Real life is much harder, Mr. Cruise

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for the wife, she loves them but I can't stand these films, they're merely feature-length Air Force commercials that glorify the military without showing the reality of the sacrifice. I have nothing against the military but I do take exception to someone like Tom Cruise, a cult leader who has only ever been challenged by his safely supervised stunts, pretending he's making the sacrifice that our brave men and women in the armed forces make every day. Cruise will never have to experience being shot down in enemy territory and taken hostage, nor will he ever have to fight with the VA to get treatment for injuries sustained during combat. These movies gloss over the struggle that military life truly is, and that's disrespectful in my opinion.

If you watch it for the entertainment it’s great, if your one that is critical about everything being 100% realistic this might not be for you. Better than the first stop Gun Movie
