I already had this on DVD when it first came out but it needed to be shown in 4K. I consider this movie to be one of the top flying military films of all time. I would certainly recommend this to my friends especially if they hadn't already seen it and even if they had.

Waited months for this to come out on 4K, and this title did not disappoint. Picture is amazing in 4K and HDR. Sound is amazing in Dolby Atmos. Special features are very good. So glad this was as great as it was given Top Gun Maverick not coming out this summer because of COVID 19.

This is a great movie from the 80's. It looks and sounds even better now that's its on 4k. I wish the digital copy of the movie would port over to Movies Anywhere, but that's a problem with all Paramount movies. It still redeems on Vudu so that's good I guess.

The real reason to get a 4k movie is to see the new restoration. This movie does have a great one and looks great on a 4k tv. The picture is clear and the Dolby aroma is great!!

Classic 80's movie in 4K. Bought this on sale. The dolby atmos sound is pretty good, especially during the dog fight scenese. Only watched this once since I got it. I'm not a huge Top Gun fan, but it's a good buy if it's on sale or if you're a Top Gun fan.

It's not really about the DVD, but I'm sure it plays fine. Truthfully, I only bought it because I have a really large DVD collection I couldn't believe this wasn't in it. Kudos to Best Buy for still selling the classics! Also, I like that it comes w/ the digital download.

Helloooooo....It's Top freaking Gun. One of the best movies of all time. It's like a lie detector for your girl. If she watches it and says the guys are ugly....she lying then you have to question if you are manly enough for her!

A classic that looks great in 4K! I probably wouldn’t have gotten this if not for Top Gun Maverick staying fresh on my mind! For completist sake… but for $7.99 can’t go wrong.

I previously purchased this movie when it first came out in DVD and purchased it when it was available on BluRay. It’s a classic. So when it came out in 4K will Dolby Atmos I of course was going to buy it. A prior review said the movie in 4K is grainy. When I watched it in 4K it was grainy. The Dolby Atmos was super during the flight scenes was worth the purchase. I could not recommend it if you did not care about the Dolby Atmos experience.

Great movie to have in 4k UHD Blu ray. Physical copy 4k beats streaming with picture quality and pulverizes streaming audio. Buy a physical copy if you like the series.

Such a great 80’s action packed classic finally restored for 4K. A great choice for any air force fan or Tom Cruise you should pick up this movie and play it loud in your home theater. An absolute must have! They did a great job at restoring this one!

Being a fan of the original lovie I had to know if the 4K version was a good bonus. Thankfully it does deliver in both video and sound. This is the best you will find.

I figured this would be a good movie, even with all the hype promotion. We don't go to theaters anymore, so we wait until movies come out on disk (bluray or 4k).

If you are like me and buy 4K movies for awesome sound, then this one is for you. I remember watching Top Gun as a kid and enjoying the music and sound of the planes. The Dolby Atmos track is amazing from start to finish...IMMERSIVE SOUND!!!

A movie that I have come to like and appreciate over the years since I first saw it in the theaters back in the day. I remember how awesome those jet engines sounded in the theater in the 70mm 6-Track format. The picture on the 4K blu ray is a definite upgrade from the 1080, and to some extent the audio too. I guess it's hard to reproduce that thunderous low end shaking that I remember hearing in the theaters back in '86. It's still good to go. Check it out.

Outstanding movie the new Top Gun Maverick. Top Gun was alright but this one is really close to real life. Was in US Navy and this is about as close as it gets.

The best Tom Cruise movie. The storyline and action makes Tom's acting livable. Supporting characters are outstanding as well as the Naval aircraft.

I love all movies, but 80s movies are my bag. Top Gun is just iconic and still brings a rush of joy and memories every time I view it. Seeing it in 4k was sharp and crystal clear, almost like watching it for the first time.

A fantastic action-packed story starring Tom Cruise that goes into what it takes to be in the Top Gun! There are laughs, tears, and moments that make you go woah!

The 4K Ultra HD version of Top Gun finally does justice to the original movie. In addition to the picture quality, the surround sound in this version is amazing.
