I watched this online streaming in 4K and it was amazing so I wanted to buy it. Totally disappointed in this, maybe it was the player by it looked just like it did when it came out. Not like the 4K streaming version that blew me away.

Average.. the 4K was very grainy..checked connections.. tv setting.. also purchased GOT season 8 in 4 k... GREAT looking in 4 k. I have a couple of other 4K flicks that look grainy.

I bought this 4k copy hoping to enjoy the surround of all the planes flying. I know my Atmos sound system is not reference quality, but I don't get the same effect as Hacksaw Ridge or Narnia...

I love this movie growing up and that’s why I bought it in ultra HD. I just wish that it’ll be more clearer or enhanced. I really can’t tell the difference between this one or Blu-ray.

The 4k version was really grainy. Yes I'm aware the original wasn't filmed in 4k and had to be digitally up-converted. I'm saying you'll be fine with the blue-ray only version.

It was nice to see again this movie but, when the take an old movie and make it 4K Ultra HD, the quality is not the same as a new 4K Ultra HD movie

Got this movi e by mistake, thought it was new release of Top Gun movie "Maervick ". Don't see alot of different between this 4k and old version in hi/def.

A blast from the past. Don't know why I bought it but there is some good scenes of fighter action and it has a good sound track.

Trying to get a perfect picture from older movies is hard. Quality wasn't much better then blu ray version

The 4K was good, but not as I expected. Still grainy every now and then.

A very good copy in blu-ray. My problem is that the story is stupid. If I were 13 years old, maybe it would seem OK. If you are over 21 you may want to watch something with a better story behind it. If you enjoy grinning immature adults who think they are special, this is your kind of show.

Picture quality on the blue ray disc is quite poor for 4K. The digital copy has a better picture. Atmos is almost non-existent. That latter is such a waist with so many scenes having planes flying overhead. I bought the disc because the picture and sound quality are better than the streaming version due to higher compression. However, very poor mastering. It's not worth buying the blue ray disc. Very disappointed! I want my money back. I have a compatible blue ray player -- Sony UBP-X800. My TV is LG OLED 77CX, the AVR is SonySTR-DN1080 7.1 channel with Dolby Atmos. My Atmos speakers are Klipsch RP-500SA Reference Premiere Dolby Atmos. This setup plays back very good picture and sound when the source is good, of course.

Seen this movie when it first came out. Thought the 4K version was better but to me it didnt

Great classic movie. Good Atmos Sound, but UHD video is very dark. Doesn't look like 4K quality

An 80's classic. I didn't grow up with this but i did grow up with the NES video game.

Not really 4K quality. Perhaps a result of how it was originally filmed.

If i owned this movie already would be upset if day blue ray be about the same

Definitely not worth the money for the 4K upgrade . I know it’s a 30 year old movie but I see no change but the slightest increase in brightness over regular blu-ray . Save your money on this one . Great movie but was expecting more color pop or over all something being remaster 4K
